Apparatus for attaching lockbox to door
Apparatus for retaining a key on a door handle or lever. The apparatus includes two arms each with a head portion and a bottom portion having a shackle prong extending in a direction away from the head portion. The arms have an open state in which the head portions are at least partly separated from one another, and a closed state defining an aperture therebetween. A key box has a compartment for containing the key, and receptacles that receive the shackle prongs when the arms are in the closed state. The key box transitions from a closed state in which the shackle prongs are locked in the receptacles to an open state in which the shackle prongs are out of the receptacles upon entry of a shackle release code. The key box enables access to the compartment upon receiving an access code different than the shackle release code.
HOOD RELEASE LEVER COVER ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A release lever cover assembly for a vehicle includes a bracket assembly, a first release lever, and a release lever cover. The bracket assembly is configured to be connected to a vehicle body structure of the vehicle. The first release lever is pivotally connected to the bracket assembly. The first release lever is movable between a first position and a second position in which a vehicle component is released. The release lever cover is slidably connected to the bracket assembly. The release lever cover is movable between a first position preventing movement of the first release lever and a second position allowing movement of the first release lever.
HOOD RELEASE LEVER COVER ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A hood release lever cover assembly for a vehicle includes a bracket assembly and a hood release lever. The bracket assembly is configured to be connected to a vehicle body structure of the vehicle. The hood release lever cover is pivotally connected to the bracket assembly. The hood release lever cover is movable between a first position preventing movement of a hood release lever of the vehicle and a second position allowing movement of the hood release lever.
HOOD RELEASE LEVER COVER ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A hood release lever cover assembly for a vehicle includes a first fixed member and a hood release lever cover. The first fixed member is configured to be connected to a vehicle body structure of the vehicle. The hood release lever cover is movably connected to the first fixed member. The hood release lever cover is movable between a first position preventing movement of a hood release lever of the vehicle and a second position allowing movement of the hood release lever.
Mechanism for indicating position of a latch mechanism for an aircraft nacelle
An aircraft nacelle is disclosed and includes a first fan cowl and a second fan cowl. An opening is defined in an exterior surface of the first fan cowl. The aircraft nacelle also includes a blade, a latch mechanism, an arm, and a linkage assembly operably connecting the arm to the blade. The blade is moveable along between a stowed position and a deployed position. The latch mechanism is moveable between a latched position an unlatched position where a portion of the latch mechanism obstructs a path of movement of the blade. The arm is unable to move from an extended position where a portion of the arm extends through the opening in the exterior surface of the aircraft nacelle into a retracted position within an interior volume of the aircraft nacelle when the blade is in the deployed position and the latch mechanism is in the unlatched position.
Confinement room lock
A lock assembly for a door includes a lock mechanism moveable between an extended position wherein the door is locked and a retracted position wherein the door is unlocked such that the door may be opened and closed. The lock assembly also includes first and second lock cylinders operably connected to the lock mechanism such that actuation thereof causes the lock mechanism to move to the retracted position, the lock cylinders each including a first keyhole. A tamper resistant member is moveable between a protected position in which the keyhole of the second cylinder is inaccessible and an unprotected position in which the keyhole of the second cylinder is accessible, such that a tool is required in order to move the tamper resistant member from the protected position to the unprotected position, the tool adapted to be stored separately from the door.
SECURITY LOCK
This invention concerns a security lock for use with a lock unit. The security lock has a base, a casing in which the base is, in use, received, an elongate locking bolt, biasing means for urging the locking bolt towards its inoperative position, an externally accessible operating member for moving the locking bolt and a locking mechanism which is used to lock the bolt in its operative position. A securing mechanism is operable between a locked state in which the base and casing are locked to each other and a released state in which the base and casing are released from each other. A securing element is held captive such that it remains in position irrespective of whether the securing mechanism is in its locked or released state.
Theft deterrent system for electronics cabinet door
A theft deterrent system for an electronics cabinet includes a handle cover having through-holes dimensioned to align with a through-hole in a handle of the electronics cabinet. The through-holes of the handle cover may be dimensioned to receive a shackle of a lock. The theft deterrent system further includes a shackle cover dimensioned to receive the shackle of the lock. The shackle cover may include an upper tab and a lower tab, each comprising a respective shackle slot therein dimensioned to receive the shackle of the lock.
Cover for side door release handle
An apparatus for preventing inadvertent actuation of a door release handle of a motor vehicle includes a cover with a lip that engages with an edge of an opening in an inner body panel, and at least one rib attached to the cover, the at least one rib being positioned relative to the door release handle to prevent actuation of the handle when the cover is positioned in the opening of the inner body panel.
Door closure
Disclosed is a closure for a door of a shipping container. The closure includes a housing, an outside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, an inside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, and a catch connected to the inside handle. The closure is configured so that movement of the inside handle between a first position and a second position causes corresponding movement of the catch. A locking mechanism can releasably fix the inside handle relative to the outside handle, such that when in a locked position rotation of the outside handle causes corresponding rotation of the inside handle and when in an unlocked position the inside handle can be rotated independently of the outside handle.
