LOCKING DEVICE WITH A MECHANICAL ARRANGEMENT FOR SELECTING AN ACTIVE SIDE OF A DOOR
The present invention relates to a locking device with arrangement for selecting an active side of a door, the locking device comprising—a first side configured to face a first side of a door and a second side configured to face a second side of a door when the locking device is mounted in the door, —a bolt that is configured to move between an extended position and a retracted position, said movement being in a direction parallel to the first side and the second side, and—a bolt operating mechanism configured to control a position of the bolt, and the arrangement comprising—a first handle receiving portion arranged on the first side of the locking device, and configured to rotate when a first handle is operated, —a second handle receiving portion arranged on the second side of the locking device, and configured to rotate when a second handle is operated, wherein the first handle receiving portion and the second handle receiving portion are configured to move independently of each other; the arrangement also comprising—a connector configured to transmit a movement from the first handle receiving portion or the second handle receiving portion to the bolt operating mechanism of the locking device; —an actuator movable from a first position, in which it connects the first handle receiving portion to the connector to a second position in which it connects the second handle receiving portion to the connector, so that a rotation of the first handle receiving portion or second handle receiving portion is configured to generate a movement of the bolt; —and a fastening device configured to fixate the actuator in the first position or the second position, —wherein the fastening device is configured to be accessible from a third side of the locking device, said third side being essentially perpendicular to the first and second side.
Electric door lock mechanism and method to override
A lock mechanism for a vehicle latch includes a cable link. Also included is a pawl release link, the cable link and the pawl release link switchable between an engaged condition and a disengaged condition, the engaged condition allowed manual release of the vehicle latch, the disengaged condition preventing release of the vehicle latch. Further included is an electrically driven gear operatively coupled to the cable link and the pawl release link to reset the cable link and the pawl release link to the disengaged condition.
SELF-LOCKING AND FOLDABLE EJECTOR ARM
A locking mechanism for securing a computing device in an enclosure includes a jaw, a transmission lever, and an arm. The jaw is configured to abut a portion of the enclosure for holding the computing device. The transmission lever includes an arm pivot at one end and an actuating pivot at the opposite end. The arm is configured to rotate open and closed about the arm pivot and be selectively decoupled from the transmission lever. When the arm is coupled to the transmission lever, opening the arm causes the transmission lever to rotate open about the actuating pivot. Rotating open the transmission lever about the actuating pivot releases the jaw from the portion of the enclosure, and allows the computing device to be removed from the enclosure.
Door closure
Disclosed is a closure for a door of a shipping container. The closure includes a housing, an outside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, an inside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, and a catch connected to the inside handle. The closure is configured so that movement of the inside handle between a first position and a second position causes corresponding movement of the catch. A locking mechanism can releasably fix the inside handle relative to the outside handle, such that when in a locked position rotation of the outside handle causes corresponding rotation of the inside handle and when in an unlocked position the inside handle can be rotated independently of the outside handle.
COMPONENT FOR USE IN A LOCKING DEVICE
A component for use in a locking device such as a door lock or a padlock or bike lock that uses a shackle is disclosed. The component includes a body and a pair of rotatable plugs which sit within a cylinder of the body. One plug is connected to a handle and the other is connected to a lock release mechanism. A bridge selectively connects and releases the first and second plugs and an actuator, cooperating with biasing devices, is used to determine whether the bridge is in a connecting or releasing condition. This is in turn determines whether the component is acting to operate the lock in a locked or an unlocked condition.
CHILD-SAFE DOOR, CABINET, AND DRAWER LOCKING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A child/pet-proofing apparatus and system is described. The apparatus is configured to facilitate the locking and unlocking of doors, cabinets, and drawers of a household while retaining the original aesthetic of the doors, cabinets, and drawers by employing the pre-existing hardware as a sophisticated manipulator of an internal locking mechanism disposed within a housing behind the face or front of the drawer or cabinet. The locking mechanism is configured to be locked and unlocked via two-step process which namely includes pushing the knob inwards and then turning the knob while it remains depressed. As the push-and-turn action is performed, an internal pocket spring is compressed, which enables the placement of locking pins into specifically arranged pin holes disposed on a drive disc. The drive disc is in communication with a lock arm which is then pivoted away from the junction of the drawer/cabinet and the surrounding cabinet housing.
ELECTRONIC HANDLE DOOR LOCK EASY TO INSTALL AND USE
The present disclosure discloses an electronic handle door lock structurally which includes a rear handle, a front handle, a lock body arranged between the rear handle and the front handle, a clutch rotating rod rotatably arranged at an inner side of the front handle, a control circuit board installed on one side of the front handle, and an linkage square pipe penetrating through one side of the lock body and connected between the rear handle and the front handle, wherein the linkage square pipe is connected with the clutch rotating rod, one side of the front handle is provided with a battery case installing slot, one side of the battery case installing slot is detachably provided with a contact type battery case, and an inner side of one side of the battery case installing slot is provided with an electrically conductive plate electrically connected with the control circuit board.
A HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A WINDOW OR DOOR LEAF
A handle assembly for a window or door leaf having first and second opposing sides, the handle assembly having a forward end and a rearward end, the handle assembly comprising: a first handle grip, configured for mounting to a first side of the leaf, the first handle grip being moveable rotatably and axially relative to a first handle axis, and a second handle grip configured for mounting to the second side of the leaf, the second handle grip being movable at least rotatably relative to a second handle axis, each handle grip having a closed position, wherein the handle grip is in a first angular position and an open position, wherein the handle grip is in a second angular position, the handle assembly having a rest mode and a locked mode.
DOOR, LOCK, OPERATOR, ASSEMBLY AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
The present invention relates to an anti-barricade door handle assembly which comprises an integrated auxiliary door handle for use in an emergency. The auxiliary door handle can be configured between a stowed configuration and an activated configuration. The auxiliary door handle is operable to operate a lock when in the activated configuration and inoperable when in the stowed configuration. The auxiliary door handle can only be configured to the activated configuration by an authorized user. The auxiliary door handle is configured to override a primary door handle which operates the lock in normal, non-emergency use.
INTERCHANGEABLE HANDLE LOCKSET
A handle set including a chassis and a handle mounted on the chassis. The handle includes a shank having a load bearing section, a primary actuating section, and a secondary actuating section. The chassis includes a housing, a support spindle, a primary actuator, and a secondary actuator. The support spindle is longitudinally coupled with the load bearing section, and the primary actuator is rotationally coupled with the primary actuating section of the handle. The handle set has a first configuration in which the secondary actuating section is engaged with the secondary actuator, and a second configuration in which the secondary actuating section is disengaged from the secondary actuator.
