CATCH MECHANISM FOR A LOCKING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a catch mechanism for blocking a bolt to prevent unauthorized opening of a door, the catch mechanism comprising a follower for operating a bolt between a locked state in which the bolt is extended and an unlocked state in which the bolt is retracted; a catch configured to block the follower for preventing movement of the bolt in the locked state, and a control member for operating the follower and the catch, The invention also relates to a locking device comprising such a catch mechanism.
Household appliance with a safety device to prevent the exit of cloths and related safety device
The present invention concerns a household appliance (1), such as a washing machine and the like, comprising a chassis (11), a drum (12), for containing clothes (P), said drum (12) being contained in said chassis (11) and accessible through an opening (13), and a door (2), hinged to said chassis (11), for closing said opening (13), characterized in that it comprises a safety device (3) arranged to interact with said door (2) and configured to interrupt the operation of said household appliance (1) in case of said clothes (P) contained in said drum (12) exert a stress on said door (2) exceeding a safety threshold. The present invention also relates to a safety device (3) to prevent the exit of clothes (P) from a household appliance (1).
Crash unlock for side door latch
A power latch assembly for motor vehicle closure applications is provided that is normally actuated via electrical signals whereat inside and outside door handles are mechanically disengaged and wherein the inside and outside door handles can be selectively and/or automatically changed for mechanically engaged actuation. The inside door handles can be provided to be mechanically actuatable in direct response to selective disengagement of a child lock. The outside door handles can be provided to be mechanically actuatable in direct response to a crash condition.
Overwing Exit Door System
A system and method for an overwing exit door is provided. The overwing exit door system comprises a door, a handle connected to an inboard surface of the door, a guide track connected to a body of the aircraft, a roller, a first crank connected to the roller and associated with the handle, a first shaft system attached to the first crank, a latch system connected to the first shaft system, and a locking system associated with the latch system. The latch system comprises a rotating stop, a second crank associated with the rotating stop, and a second shaft system connected to the second crank and the rotating stop. These components together control operation of the overwing exit door between an open position and a closed position.
Dual actuated latch mechanism for a vehicle
A latching mechanism releasably engages a striker. The latching mechanism includes a housing secured to the vehicle body, and defining a striker channel through which the striker is selectively movable along a striker path. The latching mechanism includes a release lever pivotally connected to the housing and configured to rotate in a first direction in response to a tensile force. A detent is pivotally connected to the housing and to the release lever, and is movable with lost motion relative to the release lever. A fork bolt is adjustably connected to the housing and movable between a fully latched position, where the fork bolt fixes the striker relative to the housing, and a secondary position, where the striker is movable relative to the housing. Moving the fork bolt from the secondary position to the fully latched position causes the lost motion between the detent and the release lever.
Fenestration lock assemblies and methods
Fenestration lock assemblies, fenestration units including the lock assemblies, and methods of operating the lock assemblies. The lock assemblies offer a lock assembly construction that is capable of being assembled, installed, and used in a purely manual mode (i.e., in the absence of any driving unit such as, e.g., a motor, solenoid, etc.) or that may be assembled, installed, and used with a driving unit such that the lock assembly can be operated manually or in a driven mode, with the manual and driven modes of operation being unaffected by each other.
DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE DOOR
A door handle assembly for a vehicle door includes a handle which is mounted on a handle housing and which, in a non-use position, is arranged to extend flush with an outer contour of the vehicle door and is designed to be movable into an actuating position and a vehicle opening lever mounted on the handle housing and movable between a standby position and an unlocking position opening the vehicle door. The handle is movable from the actuating position into an emergency actuating position for manually opening the vehicle door. The handle is decoupled from the vehicle door opening lever when it is in its non-use position and in its actuating position. During movement from the actuating position into the emergency actuating position, the handle is coupled to the vehicle door opening lever and moves the lever into the unlocking position.
MODULAR CYLINDRICAL LOCKSET
An exemplary product line system includes a common platform and a plurality of component families, each of which includes a plurality of interchangeable component species configured for use with the common platform. The common platform includes an inside drive assembly and a chassis assembly including a chassis and an outside drive assembly. A lockset assembled from the system includes the common platform and a plurality of modular components. Each of the modular components corresponds to a respective one of the component families, and is provided as a selected species of the corresponding component family. The lockset has a function defined by the set of component species installed to the lockset. The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.
Latchbolt retractor, a latchbolt assembly, and an assembly for a lockset
A latchbolt retractor (12) is described herein. The latchbolt retractor (12) comprises a latchbolt retraction mechanism (30) mounted to a carriage (28). The latchbolt retraction mechanism (30) comprising a latchbolt assembly coupler (32) for operational coupling to a latchbolt assembly (22). The carriage (28) is configured to slide along at least one rail (14,16) for positioning the latchbolt assembly coupler (32) relative to the latchbolt.
