PIN LATCH WITH ADJUSTABLE PRE-LOAD
A latch mechanism includes a handle connected to a pin by a linkage. The linkage converts rotation of the handle relative to a frame into axial movement of the pin between extended and retracted positions relative to the frame.
Door latch with opening and closing mechanical advantage
A door latch which provides leverage to the door in both the closing and opening operations of the latch's door handle. The door latch has a door axle attached to an edge of the door and a striker is attached to the cabinet. A latch pivoting component has a base bearing journaled to the door axle and a handle attached to the base bearing for manually rotating the base bearing about the door axle. A cam is attached to the base bearing and is engageable with the striker by rotation of the base bearing. The cam includes a closing cam segment and an opening cam segment. The opening cam segment engages and slides along the striker as the latch pivoting component is rotated in an opening direction of rotation. The closing cam segment engages and slides along the striker as the latch pivoting component is rotated in a closing direction of rotation.
DEADBOLT LOCK DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes a frame and a linear actuator coupled thereto. A link, lever, spring (LLS) subassembly may be coupled to the frame and may include a short link, a long link, a lever, and a spring. A lockbolt subassembly may further be coupled to the frame. The lockbolt subassembly may comprise a latch, a bolt housing, and a lockbolt.
Pressure-Release Latch With Tension Calibration
A pressure-release latch for releasably locking closed a door panel on the frame to which the door panel is hingedly connected. The latch has a base and a latch bolt rotatable between a closed position that locks the door panel closed and an open position that allows the door to swing open. A latch bolt actuator connected to the latch bolt rotates the latch bolt between the closed and open positions from outside the door panel, locks the latch bolt in the closed position, and automatically unlocks and moves the latch bolt to the open position when a predetermined opening force is applied to the latch bolt. A calibration mechanism adjusts the magnitude of the predetermined opening force required to automatically unlock the latch.
A BOLT ASSEMBLY FOR A DEADBOLT LOCK ARRANGEMENT AND A METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A bolt assembly for a deadbolt lock arrangement including a drivable cam in rotational engagement with a follower wheel. A bolt connecting arm pivotally connected to a bolt slidably supported within a main housing body of the bolt assembly and also connected to a follower wheel connecting arm that is connected to the follower wheel, wherein rotation of the drive cam translates to rotational movement of the follower wheel and rotational movement of the follower wheel translates to an extending or retracting positioning of the follower wheel connecting arm so as to extend or retract said bolt connecting arm to an extended position or retracted position thereby placing the bolt in a locked or unlocked configuration.
Hatch cover lock
A hatch cover lock comprises a front member including a pair of flanges, a rear member positioned between the pair of flanges; a gap defined between front member and the rear member; a clamp defining a J-shaped cross-section in a plane normal to a length thereof, the clamp having one leg thereof disposed in the gap and having another leg thereof disposed parallel to an outer surface of the rear member and at a distance therefrom, a handle, a first pivotal connection between the handle and the front member, a gravity lock, a second pivotal connection between the gravity lock and the handle, and a weld-free connection between the main portion of the rear member and the main portion of the front member.
Locking device for a container
A locking device is provided, preferably for a container. The locking device keeps the lid of the container closed when the container is knocked over on its side, with a sudden jerking or jarring motion, such as by impact with the ground, to prevent spillage of its contents. The locking device, however, allows the lid to open when the waste container is tipped over, preferably in a forward direction, by a dumping operation.
Door Locking Device, In Particular An Electromagnetic Door Locking Device
A door locking device, in particular an electromagnetic door locking device, for a door with a rotary catch for a closing bolt of the door, wherein in particular said rotary catch can be acted upon or is acted upon in particular by a torque, wherein the rotary catch has a closing bearing surface. The door locking device includes a pivoting body, in particular a pivoting locking body, and a lever body, wherein the pivoting body is connected to the lever body by a connecting body, wherein the connecting body is connected by a first joint to the pivoting body and by a second joint to the lever body, wherein in a closed position of the rotary catch the closing bearing surface of the rotary catch is in contact or is able to be brought into contact with the first joint between the pivoting body and the connecting body.
Actuating system for an actuatable door
An actuating system for an actuatable door and to an actuatable door having such an actuating system are provided. The actuating system comprises first and second rotatable latching shafts, a coupling link, first and second pivotable mechanical transmission elements that are mounted onto first and second rotatable latching shafts, respectively, and first and second latching members. First and second latching members are non-rotatably mounted to the second rotatable latching shaft and adapted for latching the actuatable door in a closed position. A first rotation of the first rotatable latching shaft results in pivoting of the first and second mechanical transmission elements and a second rotation of the second rotatable latching shaft, which causes a third rotation of first and second latching members.
Uplock provided with retention detection means
An uplock for selectively retaining a capture pin of a movable element including a hook, a locking member, and a detector. The hook is movable between a release position and a retaining position. The locking member is movable between a locked position that immobilizes the hook and an unlocked position in which the hook is free. The detector detects whether the hook is in the retaining position and the capture pin is present in the hook. The detector includes a sensor associated with a single target which is movable between two positions The sensor emits a signal which is modified when the target passes from one of the positions to the other. The target is independently in kinematic interaction with the hook and the capture pin.
