A vehicle opening and closing body operating device includes: a full-open lock opening lever connected to a full-open lock configured to maintain an opening and closing body in a fully opened state, and configured to output release operating force to the full-open lock; an input lever connected to the full-open lock opening lever and an operating handle, and configured to rotate the full-open lock opening lever so as to output the release operating force; a release lever connected to the input lever through a connecting member, and configured to rotate the full-open lock opening lever through the connecting member and the input lever; an emergency input lever to which rotation operating force is inputted; and a cancel mechanism configured to move the connecting member from a connection position where the input and release levers are connected to a disconnection position where the input and release levers are disconnected.

Sliding door or window latch

A latch includes a protrusion that extends from a latch body. The protrusion moves from a fully extended position to a partially extended position when the door or window to which the latch is mounted is moved to a closed position. This movement of the protrusion disengages an anti-slam mechanism, allowing movement of a latch mechanism. Further, the partially extended protrusion engages in an anti-lift recess in the strike. Alternatively, the protrusion may extend from the strike and engage with an anti-lift recess in the latch body.

Lock that does not distinguish between public and private spaces
20240410198 · 2024-12-12 ·

The present invention discloses a lock that does not distinguish between public and private spaces and relates to the field of locks, comprising two sub locking systems which have the same structure, wherein the two sub locking systems are arranged mirror symmetrically on two sides. It can be optionally installed on both spaces where privacy is needed and a change of the entire lock is not required, such that all designs of an indoor layout and different requirements for design logics regarding doors are adjusted to, that a locking on both sides in an electrically controlled manner is possible, that rotation of a cylinder on both sides is prevented, and that an unlaching movement on both sides in an electrically controlled manner is possible.

Motored locking mechanism

The present invention discloses a motored locking mechanism, comprising a motor (29), two groups of transmission mechanisms that are arranged mirror symmetrically and two output components that are arranged mirror symmetrically, wherein the transmission mechanisms transfer power of the motor (29) to the output components, wherein the motor (29) is provided at an output end with a driving gear (28), wherein the driving gear (28) is attached to an output shaft of the motor (29), wherein the two groups of transmission mechanisms further comprise each an input gear (26), wherein both input gears (26) are designed as contrate gears, and wherein rotational shafts of both input gears (26) are parallel to each other, wherein one driving gear (28) is engaged with both input gears (26). The transmission mechanisms on two mirror sides are controlled by a common motor so the volume is smaller with a simpler structure. Regarding both sides of the lock, the transmission mechanism of one side is driven wherein the other side not. Thus, two unrelated systems are driven by a single motor.

Secure solenoid driven deadbolt lock
09702166 · 2017-07-11 · ·

An electronic lock driven by a keep solenoid has a non-direct mechanical connection between the solenoid plunger and the slidable deadbolt of the lock. The connection includes a pivoted lever connected to the plunger and a link between the lever and the deadbolt, these components being arranged in such a way that when the deadbolt is fully extended the pivot point of the lever and pivot points on both ends of the link, with the lever and with the deadbolt, are in alignment. The mechanical arrangement prevents retraction of the extended deadbolt by pushing inward on the deadbolt, which is a problem with a deadbolt driven directly by a solenoid plunger.

LOCKING DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER
20170166397 · 2017-06-15 ·

A locking device is provided, preferably for a container. The locking device keeps the lid of the container closed when the container is knocked over on its side, with a sudden jerking or jarring motion, such as by impact with the ground, to prevent spillage of its contents. The locking device, however, allows the lid to open when the waste container is tipped over, preferably in a forward direction, by a dumping operation.

Locking mechanism and electronic device

A locking device for connecting a first housing to a second housing is provided, wherein the first housing and the second housing are arranged along a first direction. The locking mechanism includes a first hook, a second hook, a movable member, and a driving member. The first hook and the second hook are affixed to the first housing, and respectively have a first engaging recess and a second engaging recess. The first engaging recess and the second engaging recess are arranged along the first direction. The movable portion has an engaging portion. The driving member is connected to the second housing and the movable member, and is configured to drive the movable member to move relative to the second housing. When the first housing is affixed to the second housing via the locking mechanism, the engaging portion is accommodated in the first engaging recess.

Tool operated channel latch
09650807 · 2017-05-16 · ·

The present disclosure includes a tool operated channel latch used to secure a panel against a structure. The latch includes a bracket which mounts to a movable panel and includes an actuating mechanism to open and close the latch. A bolt is pivotably retained relative to the bracket for engaging against the structure closed by the panel. A lock assembly is carried on the actuator to engage a link which is movably coupled with both the bolt and the actuator. The lock assembly includes extending portions to engage at least one corresponding opening of the link. The link provides an over center toggle condition to retain the latch in a locked position until intentionally actuated by an operator.

AIRCRAFT DOOR ASSEMBLY

A door assembly, particularly for doors of passenger aircraft, includes a door frame, a door having a door body hingedly installed in the door frame, at least one hooking pintle attached to the door frame or an edge of the door body extending along a pintle axis, and at least one door latch connected to an edge of the door body or the door frame, respectively, the door latch having a substantially C-shaped latch body configured to rotate around an axis parallel to the pintle axis of the hooking pintle. The door assembly further includes a bistable latch and hook mechanism configured to catch the door latch in hooking engagement with the hooking pintle and to retain the door latch in a direction perpendicular to the door body in an overcenter position.

LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE
20170122012 · 2017-05-04 ·

A latch assembly which is installed in a tail gate for a vehicle (e.g., a middle-sized or small-sized bus) is provided. The latch assembly for a vehicle with a separated type pawl structure includes a first pawl that is configured to be captured by and released from a claw and a second pawl that is configured to be operated by a cable. In particular, the latch assembly includes a direction of transmission of a load of the claw and a direction of operating force of the pawl that are disposed perpendicular to each other. Accordingly, a loss of operating force in a direction of a load of the claw is minimized and latch operating performance is improved by reducing operating force of the pawl and the claw.
