Tool and method for installing a door striker pin in a vehicle
A tool for installing a door striker pin includes: a latch engagement section having a first surface, a striker pin extending from the first surface, and an abutment surface that extends generally orthogonal to the first surface; and a pin positioning section coupled to the latch engagement section and including a positioning surface with a striker pin slot formed therethrough that extends in parallel with the striker pin. The striker pin slot is positioned in the positioning surface such that the striker pin slot is aligned with a striker pin installation location when the striker pin of the latch engagement section is engaged with a latch of a door and the abutment surface rests against a frame to which the door is pivotably coupled.
Backset adjuster for a door lockset jig
A cutting guide apparatus for guiding placement of bore holes in a door may include an engagement interface and a backset assembly. The engagement interface may be configured to retain the apparatus proximate to an edge of a door. The engagement interface may include a handle hole guide structure and an edge bore guide structure. The backset assembly may be operably coupled to the engagement interface to enable an amount of backset from the edge of the door to a center of the handle hole guide structure to be adjusted. The engagement interface may include a first leg configured to be disposed along a first face of the door, and a second leg configured to be disposed along a second face of the door. The backset assembly may be configured to engage the edge of the door at a variable location between the first and second legs.
Door hardware locating tool
A door hardware tool includes an edge wall with a first side, a second side opposite the first side, and an edge bore aperture that extends through the first side and the second side. The edge bore defines a first axis that extends centrally through the edge bore and through the first side and the second side. The door hardware tool also includes a side wall coupled to the edge wall. The sidewall includes a first side, a second side opposite the first side, a cavity defined between the first and second side, and a cross bore aperture moveable between a first setback position and a second setback position within the cavity along a second axis. The second axis is parallel and offset from the first axis.

BACKSET ADJUSTER FOR A DOOR LOCKSET JIG
A cutting guide apparatus for guiding placement of bore holes in a door may include an engagement interface and a backset assembly. The engagement interface is configured to retain the apparatus proximate to an edge of a door and center an edge bore guide between an inside face and an outside face of the door. The engagement interface includes a first arm and a second arm that are each operably coupled to a common pivot axis. The backset assembly is operably coupled to the engagement interface to enable an amount of backset from the edge of the door to a center of a handle hole guide to be adjusted. The backset assembly includes a first mounting bracket operably coupled to a first portion of the first arm and a first portion of the second arm, and a second mounting bracket operably coupled to a second portion of the first arm.
Access control devices of the electromagnetic lock module type
An access control device including an electromagnetic lock module for selectively locking and unlocking a door in a door frame is provided. The access control device provides a lower profiled electromagnetic lock module to improve the aesthetics and functionality of the module, supports and integrates modern accessories such as CCTV, CCD cameras, passive motion detection with automatic background correction, digital notification display, automatic source voltage selection, door and lock status indicators, and ease of installation. The present invention further provides components and circuitry to enable connection of the electromagnetic control module to 12 or 24 volts DC or to an unfiltered rectified AC power supply.
LATCHES FOR MOVABLE BARRIERS OR THE LIKE
Disclosed is a latch assembly mountable to a structure including a latch, remote actuating unit, and a guide. The guide is adapted to facilitate installation of the latch assembly. The guide is formed separately to the latch and the remote actuating unit. The guide is mounted with one of the latch or remote actuating unit on installation of the assembly on the structure.

Defense Doorjamb Lock
A device with a reinforcement plate implement, wherein said reinforcement plate implement is configured to position between a doorjamb and a doorframe stud, in which said reinforcement plate implement is operable for improving a resistance of the doorjamb from external force. A projecting lip segment is configured to rest on a middle portion of the doorjamb. A reinforcement plate aperture portion and a deadbolt strike plate implement are configured to accept the deadbolt of the lock mechanism. A reinforcement plate projecting tab part that lines a sidewall of said reinforcement plate aperture portion, interlocks with the deadbolt strike plate projecting tab part when the reinforcement plate implement is positioned between the doorjamb and the doorframe stud.
CABINET SECURITY SYSTEM
A process and apparatus for providing a cabinet security system is disclosed. The system includes a magnetic lock to be mounted on a movable cabinet panel and a catch that is mounted on a cabinet frame and configured to engage the magnetic lock to hold the cabinet panel in a closed position relative to the cabinet frame.
