LOCKABLE ENCLOSURE WITH COMBINATION LOCKING MECHANISM
A lockable enclosure includes a housing and an access door assembled with the housing and movable between a closed position and an open position. A latch is carried by the access door and is slideable along a first axis between a door latching and a door releasing position. A plurality of dials are carried by the access door and rotatable about a post extending along a second axis. When each of the plurality of dials is rotated to an unlocking orientation, an outer peripheral recess on each of the dials aligns with a corresponding dial engaging portion of the latch, allowing the latch to slide along the first axis from the door latching position to the door releasing position.
LOCK BOX ASSEMBLY
A lock box assembly includes a shell with one or more partitions defining one or more openings. Compartments are connected to the shell in the one or more openings. The compartments are capable of being rotated about an axis of rotation from a closed to open position in order to receive keys or other items to be deposited and later retrieved. A single axle is inserted through holes in each compartment and through holes in each partition and side panels of the shell to secure the compartments in the lock box assembly.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURE ENTRY
There is provided a system and method for secure entry to a property or building. One aspect includes an apparatus having a housing and alarm means for triggering a timed alarm upon removal of a receptacle key from the housing. Locking means is included for locking the housing. Another aspect includes a removable media containing a list of cylinder codes. At least a portion of the list of cylinder codes are transferred to a receptacle key within the housing. Another aspect involves a system having a secure container with locking means for locking a housing. The system includes at least one locking receptacle that is unlocked with the receptacle key. Also provided is a method comprising the steps of retrieving a receptacle key from a secure container, triggering a timed alarm for return of the receptacle key and accessing a locking receptacle with the receptacle key.
Key and/or battery caddy for electronic locks
A secure key storage device integrable with an electronic lock having a mechanical key override activation and a mechanical lock. The storage device contains and provides a key which can open the electronic lock on a mechanical override basis via the mechanical lock and is comprised of a locking key caddy compartment which contains the key, and which is provided with a mechanical lock opening member to effect opening thereof. The secure key storage device has a mounting element with a structure configured to be fitted with and securely supported by the mechanical lock of an existing electronic lock on the door and wherein the locking key caddy compartment element is integrated with the mounting element either by fastening elements or as a one piece structure. Alternatively, or in addition a spare battery compartment element is provided with a spare charged battery.
LOCK
A lock includes a housing having a plurality of apertures receiving buttons. A biasing member biases each button towards an un-pressed position. A plurality of spools includes circumferential grooves. Each circumferential groove has a notch that is angularly displaced relative to each of the other notches on that spool. A plurality of legs is in communication with one of the buttons and contacts one of the circumferential grooves. A locking plate includes apertures receiving the spools. An actuator is associated with the locking plate and a latch. Pressing and releasing the buttons causes translation of the spool rotationally orienting a notch to be adjacent to the locking plate. The locking plate only moves into an unlocked position, when driven by the actuator disengaging the latch and unlocking the lock if all of the notches which are adjacent to the locking plate are in a unlocked rotational orientation.
REMOVABLY SUSTENDED ELECTRONICALLY ADDRESSABLE OBJECT AND SYSTEM
An electronically addressable object carrier for enabling the management of removably suspended objects, such as keys, distributed in an object location space, The object carrier includes a housing having an object retention element for securing an object to the object carrier and at least one through aperture for removably receiving an electrically conductive suspension member capable of manifesting object address signals and power signals supplied by a source; a microcontroller carried by the housing, the microcontroller having a unique object address serving to identify an object secured to the object carrier; an electrically conductive element located in the at least one aperture for electrically coupling the microcontroller to the electrically conductive suspension member when the aperture is removably received on the electrically conductive suspension member; and a visible indicator coupled to the microcontroller for activation whenever the microcontroller receives an address signal representative of the unique object address. Two electrically conductive elements can be used: one having first and second electrically conductive members slidably and oppositely disposed in a single aperture and bias means for urging the first and second electrically conductive members toward each other to make contact with an electrically conductive suspension member when the carrier is mounted. Another being a pair of washers mounted in spaced first and second apertures in the housing. In use, the devices are removably suspended by one or two electrically conductive suspension members secured to a support element, such as the back board of a cabinet.
Rotary cable latch
A lock box is provided including a base plate. A back cover is mounted to the base plate and includes a first internal compartment. A first end of a connector is mounted within the first internal compartment and a second end of the connector, including an inlet, is selectively retained within the first internal compartment. A retention mechanism is configured to rotate between an unlatched and a latched position to selectively retain the second end of the connector. A front cover coupled to the base plate is movable between a closed and open position. When the front cover is in the closed position, the front cover limits movement of the retention mechanism between the latched and unlatched positions.
DOORBELL, KEY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND INTERCOM SYSTEM
A doorbell (2) includes an operation unit (22) capable of performing a calling operation, a camera (26), a microphone (23), a speaker (24), and a control unit (21) connected to the operation unit (22), the camera (26), the microphone (23) and the speaker (24) and capable of performing direct or indirect communication with an external device in which delivery item information relating to a delivery item is recorded. The control unit (21) is configured to acquire the delivery item information from the external device, and based on the delivery item information, to transmit a delivery notification of the delivery item to an information terminal (3) associated with a resident of a residence to which the doorbell (2) is attached.
System and Method for Integrating Key Access Control of Legacy Lockable Articles into a Control System and Associated Lock Boxes
The present disclosure sets forth a system for integrating key access control of a plurality of legacy lockable articles into a tool control system. The system can comprise a plurality of lock boxes each associated with a respective legacy lockable article. Each of the plurality of lock boxes can be configured to selectively lock and unlock access to a key operable to facilitate access to the respective legacy lockable article. The system can further comprise a programmable logic controller communicatively coupled to each of the plurality of lock boxes. The programmable logic controller can be operable to send control instructions to the plurality of lock boxes to lock or unlock access to the key.
Supply chain system and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing program
Various devices, methods, and media are provided. According to one of the devices, an unlocking request for unlocking a lock is received. The lock is provided in a container and contains a physical object. Information of a first owner, that has a right of ownership of the physical object, is acquired from a first ledger when the unlocking request is received. The first ledger is one of a plurality of distributed ledgers which each have a same content. The device determines whether the first requester matches the first owner, and causes the lock to be unlocked when the first requester matches the first owner.
