Cylinder lock and combination of such a lock and key
A cylinder lock includes a housing; a cylinder rotatably provided therein and having first and second ends, the cylinder extending in a longitudinal direction between the first and second ends and including an internal keyway for placing a key corresponding to the lock in the cylinder; a locking mechanism that prevents rotation of the cylinder with respect to the housing when the key is not present in the keyway; a blocking element positioned between the first and second end, and configurable to take a first position wherein the keyway is blocked such that the key cannot be placed in the keyway and a second position wherein the keyway is unblocked such that the key can be placed therein; a configuration device to configure the blocking element in the first or second position, and controllable by wireless communication between the lock and a remote control unit.
DOOR LATCH INSTALLATION
A door latch system (1) comprises a latch (10) and rose bases (60A,B) which clamp together against a door panel through a cross-drilling in the door panel by screws 80 engaging in bosses (94) above and below the latch body (12). The latch body is supported in the cross drilling by an adaptor (40) which in turn supports sleeve extensions (90) of the rose bases to prevent the rose bases from turning on operation of the handle knob/levers attached to the rose bases. The sleeve extensions are open, (that is, C-shaped in section) so that the diameter of the parts of the system within the cross drilling can be minimised, whereby the diameter of the rose bases can likewise be kept within desirable limits of size.
STATUS-INDICATING CYLINDRICAL LOCK ASSEMBLY
An exemplary status-indicating locking assembly includes a cylindrical lock assembly and a status-indicating assembly. The status-indicating assembly includes a sensor configured to sense the status of the cylindrical lock assembly, a transmission configured to communicate the lock status to at least one side of a door, and an indicator configured to display indicia relating to the lock status on the at least one side of the door. In certain forms, the sensor, transmission, and indicator may be electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, magnetic, or combinations thereof.
Locking device
A locking device and system are disclosed. The locking device includes a barrel within which sets a plug. A plurality of pins sit in pin pathways that extend partially through the barrel and plug and the pins prevent rotation of the barrel within the plug when the ends of the pins are not aligned with a shear line. One of the pins has a recess formed therein within which a locking ball can sit. The engagement or otherwise of the locking ball in the recess is controlled by a linear actuator. When the linear actuator allows the locking ball to disengage the recess the pin with the recess in can engage the key and a line the end of the pin with the shear line.
HANDCUFF APPARATUS
A handcuff is provided, including a strand comprising ratchet teeth, a universal handcuff key locking mechanism configured to receive a universal handcuff key to unlock the handcuff, a first engageable selection mechanism located on a first side of the handcuff, and a second engageable selection mechanism positioned on a second side of the handcuff opposite the first side. Unlocking the handcuff requires actuating the first engageable selection mechanism concurrently with actuating the second engageable selection mechanism while simultaneously employing the universal handcuff key, thereby releasing the ratchet teeth of the handcuff strand.
Clutch driving module of a lock
A clutch driving module is disposed in a lock which is able to drive the clutch driving module selectively to control an exterior handle assembly whether be able to drive a latch assembly in lock or unlock or not. And the clutch driving module is able to respectively make an interior handle assembly and the exterior handle assembly controlling the lock in lock or unlock independently.
CYLINDER LOCK AND DOOR
Provided is a cylinder lock which allows for a reduction in the diameter of an outer cylinder, and has good assembly workability. A cylinder lock comprising an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder that is rotatably fit with the outer cylinder, and a lid member that covers the outer cylinder, wherein the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder have a pin hole communicating with a keyhole and through which a driver pin and a tumbler pin can be inserted, and the lid member is a plurality of lid members that cover a plurality of rows of pin holes in the axial direction of the outer cylinder. It is preferable to provide two lid members configured by a spring steel material.
Locking assembly with spring mechanism
An electronic lock with a latch assembly, an interior assembly, and an exterior assembly. The latch assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The assembly includes an internal spring actuating mechanism. The assembly also includes a touch keypad subassembly configured to detect touches to at least a portion of its surface.
HIGH-STRENGTH LOCK
Described herein is locking apparatus, method for making a locking apparatus, and method for mounting a locking apparatus to the door of a personal storage container. The locking apparatus may include a threaded portion having deformed threads and a lock body shape to fit a restrictive mounting hole.
