Hand Bag With Integrated Fingerprint lock and Zipper and/or Flap Closure
A hand bag having providing an open top has a zipper for closing the open top and has a tab for connecting to a fingerprint lock mounted on the hand bag.
ACCESS AND/OR STARTING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
Access and/or starting device for a vehicle An access and/or starting apparatus (ZSV) for a vehicle (FZ) has the following features. It comprises a biometric sensor device (BS; BS1-BS4, BSI) for detecting a biometric feature (GE) of a user; a position determining device (ZGS) for determining the position of an identification transmitter (IDG1, IDG2) assigned to the user (BU); a control device (STG) for enabling a vehicle function if the biometric feature of the user that is detected by the biometric sensor device (BS; BS1-BS4, BSI) corresponds to a predetermined feature and, the position determining device (ZGS) detects the identification transmitter in a predetermined region (ANB) around or in the vehicle (FZ). The security of the access and/or starting apparatus is increased in this way.
Door lock bezel with touch and wireless capabilities
An electromechanical lock can have a bezel along an exterior surface. A touch of a human finger upon the bezel can be determined and used to adjust a deadbolt between a lock state and an unlock state.
Security strap
A security device also referred to as a security strap comprises a locking mechanism having at least a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion releasably engage one another. The security device has at least two attachment mechanisms, wherein one of the at least two attachment mechanisms extends outward from the locking mechanism, and wherein another of the at least two attachment mechanisms extends from the locking mechanism in an opposite direction to the one of the at least two attachment mechanisms, wherein each of the at least two attachment mechanisms are separated from the locking mechanism by a length of strap material, and wherein at least one of the at least two attachment mechanisms is attached to a substrate.
DOOR ACCESS DEVICE
Door access devices are disclosed. An example door access device includes a door handle to open a door and a fingerprint reader disposed on a rear side of the door handle to read a fingerprint from a user touching the rear side of the door handle. The fingerprint reader is obscured from view from a vantage of the user attempting to open the door.
Holder for TSA-Approved Locks
Disclosed is a holder for TSA-approved locks, the multi-purpose protective holder comprising a holder body, a TSA-approved and recognised logo window provided on at least one of either a front face and a back face of the holder body for exposing TSA-approved and recognised logo; a code zone provided on one side of the holder body to expose code dials; and a keyhole zone provided at the underside of the holder body to expose a keyhole and a TSA key number, wherein the holder body is further attached with a card case body including a card case bottom wall and a card case top wall. The holder as disclosed may facilitate customs officials in identifying the TSA-approved and recognised logo so as to avoid the circumstances of removing the lock by force, causing damage due to misidentification; besides, it is convenient for a passenger to place an information card in the card case to record names/usages of the items inside the luggage as well as personal information. Besides, the holder as disclosed may be further used in collaboration with an electronic tracking device so as to provide preliminary evidence for the passenger to claim against the service providers upon occurrence of losses or damage to items in the luggage.
ELECTRONIC LOCK
An electronic lock includes a housing, and a locking system within the housing. The locking system includes electronics and a lock. More particularly, the housing contains therein, a controller and at least one electronic input device electrically coupled to the controller, where the controller causes the lock to transition between a locked position to an unlocked position responsive to input from the electronic input device.
Biometric lock
A biometric lock comprising a lock body, a shackle with a long leg and a short leg, wherein the long leg of the shackle never comes out of the lock, and a fingerprint panel wherein the fingerprint panel and an associated memory, battery, and processor are configured to associate a fingerprint of a user to one of a plurality of lock control levels, said associated fingerprint considered a registered fingerprint, wherein each lock control level allows an associated lock control level user to unlock said lock, the lock including a driving electronic circuit, electro-mechanical control motor, and a latch, that are configured to unlock the lock if a registered fingerprint is placed on said fingerprint panel.
PURSE WITH SECURITY AND SAFETY FEATURES
Disclosed is a bag or purse for containing valuables. The bag or purse includes a rigid endoskeleton, an exterior covering disposed over the rigid endoskeleton, a lock assembly coupled to the endoskeleton, a biometric sensor and a microcontroller. The lock assembly prevents access to the interior space when the lock assembly is in a locked state. The lock assembly includes a handle and an actuator. The actuator is arranged within the lock assembly to selectively allow the lock assembly to unlock from a locked state. The microcontroller is programmed to determine whether an input provided to the biometric sensor corresponds with an authorized user and, if affirmative, activate the actuator to allow the lock assembly to achieve the unlocked state, and if negative, to not allow the lock assembly to achieve the unlocked state. A quick release cross body shoulder strap and GPS tracking feature can also be provided.
