The locking arrangement includes a locking device in the door leaf with a blocking element, which can be moved in and contrary to a blocking direction in order to block or release the door, and a lock actuator in the wall portion with a first mechanical actuating element, which is unconnected to the blocking element in order to shift the blocking element, by mechanical contact pressure, from the movement position into the blocking position and vice versa. A control and information system contains the door arrangement, a control device for the lock actuator, a human/machine interface, and a communication interface for an authorized body different from the user.
LEVER ACTION AUTOMATIC SHOOTBOLT OPERATOR WITH MAGNETICALLY-TRIGGERED LOCK MECHANISM
A magnetically-triggered lock mechanism for interengaging two relatively movable components. The lock mechanism includes a bolt mounted within a first component and displaceable between retracted and extended positions to interengage with a second component when the first and second components are in a predetermined position relative to each other and the bolt is extended, and a magnetically-releasable latch mechanism positioned to latch the bolt in a retracted position, the latch mechanism including a first magnet and mounted for movement between a biased latch engaging position and a latch releasing position in a non-common direction of movement of the bolt. An adjustable strike having an actuator portion including a second magnet is positioned to displace the latch mechanism to the latch releasing position when the first component is in the predetermined position relative to the second component, wherein the actuator portion is pivotable about a transverse axis of the strike body in response to magnetic communication between the first and second magnets to maintain the actuator portion within close proximity to the latch mechanism.
MAGNETIC SAFETY GATE LATCH
A magnetic safety gate latch assembly and method of operation. The assembly includes: a pool latch tube, a user-actuated lid coupled to the top end of the pool latch tube; a rotatable shaft within the pool latch tube, an upper end of the shaft rigidly coupled to the lid, and a lower end of the shaft including a shaped base. The assembly further includes a magnet housing that at least partially encloses the shaped base and includes an aperture to cooperatively engage with the shaped base. The assembly further includes a bottom cover coupled to the lower end of the pool latch tube and enclosing the magnet housing, the bottom cover including an aperture facing a latch pin housing, the aperture positioned to expose a magnet. The assembly further includes a ferromagnetic latch pin and housing, and a magnetic latch pin guide slidably enclosing the latch pin.
Smart Door Opening System
A smart door opening system includes a latch opening mechanism configured to be received in a latch hole of a door frame and configured to push a latch of a door out of the latch hole and a hinge opening mechanism configured to move the door from a closed position to an open position. A controller is operably coupled to the latch opening mechanism and the hinge actuator. The controller is configured to cause the latch opening mechanism to push the latch out of the latch hole and the hinge opening mechanism to move the door from the closed position to the open position in response to receiving a door open signal. The system includes a network interface configured to receive the door open signal via a network, and to communicate the door open signal to the controller.
MOTORIZED ELECTRIC STRIKE
An exemplary electric strike includes a housing and a keeper pivotally mounted in the housing. The strike also includes a plunger having an extended position and a retracted position, a cage including an aperture, and a locking element movably seated in the aperture. The locking element is engaged with the plunger, and the plunger is structured to urge the locking element radially outward as the plunger moves from an extended position toward a retracted position. The strike also includes a sleeve, a transmission engaged with the sleeve, and a motor drivingly coupled to the transmission. The sleeve is structured to selectively prevent radially outward movement of the locking element and retraction of the plunger. The strike also includes at least one of a lost motion connection and an anti-tamper mechanism.
TOUCHLESS DOOR OPEN/CLOSE SYSTEM
A touchless stall door opening and closing system includes a motor, a door pivot for pivoting a door between an open position and a closed position, a locking mechanism for locking the door when the door is in the closed position, and a microcontroller for receiving a signal from a first sensor to drive the motor for opening the door and for receiving a signal from a second sensor for actuating the locking mechanism for unlocking the door. A method for touchless operation of the door includes touchless opening of the door, touchless closing of the door, and touchless locking and unlocking of the door.
Saloon-type lavatory door
A saloon-type door assembly that includes left and right door assemblies that each include a frame adapter having a curved inner surface with a first apex, a front portion and a rear portion, a door adapter that includes a curved outer surface with a second apex a front portion and a rear portion, a door panel associated with the door adapter, at least one front hinge strip secured along a front hinge strip path, and at least one rear hinge strip that is secured along a rear hinge strip path. The front hinge strip path extends from the front portion of the curved outer surface of the door adapter to the rear portion of the curved inner surface of the frame adapter. The rear hinge strip path extends from the rear portion of the curved outer surface of the door adapter to the front portion of the curved inner surface of the frame adapter. The door panels are movable between a front open position, a closed position and a rear open position.
Sensor for rim latch roller strike
A locking device assembly for a door located at a door frame. The locking device assembly includes a door strike assembly including a magnetized ferromagnetic material and a latchbolt assembly located at the door. The latchbolt assembly includes a latchbolt and a magnetic field sensor, wherein the magnetic field sensor senses a magnetic field provided by the door strike assembly. The door strike assembly includes, in different embodiments, a magnet located in a frame of the door strike assembly or a magnetic roller. The magnetic field sensor includes a magnetometer configured to determine the presence of a magnetic field provided by the door strike assembly. In the event that the door strike assembly has been removed to defeat the locking device, the lack of the magnetic field indicates that a security condition exists. An alert is provided to indicate the existence of the security condition.
Magnetic lock release indicator / power failure indicator
