Deadbolt touch panel for keyless entry
A touch screen electronic deadbolt includes a planar, exterior touch panel with a touch overlay for receiving tactile input for entry of an access code to engage and disengage a deadbolt. The touch panel is contained within a housing cavity of a rectilinear housing. A touch overlay rests above the housing cavity extending to the edge of the housing without the use of a bezel or frame, thus providing a sleek and low profile appearance. An interior escutcheon may be in communication with the exterior touch panel allowing a user to manually engage and disengage the deadbolt from within a dwelling.
LIDDED MINI-DRAWER ASSEMBLY WITHOUT A CABLE
A drawer assembly is described that includes one or more mini-drawer assemblies. A mini-drawer assembly comprises a sliding tab along a rear-to-front axis, a release mechanism coupled to the sliding tab, and a body having a body bottom coupled from the body bottom to the sliding tab. The body may slide over the sliding tab. The mini-drawer assembly may include a plurality of compartments in the body and a plurality of lids that are hingedly coupled to the compartments. Each lid may have a respective fastening element. A plurality of latches may couple to the body such that each latch is coupled to a corresponding compartment. The latch may hold the respective fastening element of the lid. When the body is pulled out along the rear-to-front axis, the release mechanism may engage with the latch to release the respective fastening element and to unlatch the lid of the compartment.
REMOVABLE, NON-INTRUSIVE, REMOTELY-CONTROLLED DOOR LOCKING APPARATUS
In order to secure a door in a locked position without a key, such as to resist a forced entry through the door, a removable, non-intrusive, remotely-controlled door locking apparatus is provided, which includes a rear plate for attachment against a surface of a door using an adhesive substance, a flange that extends from the rear plate under the door, and a cover for enclosing components on the rear plate. A DC-powered linear actuator connected to the rear plate and at least one electronics module configured to communicate wirelessly is within the cover. A foot of the actuator is configured to be extended in a lock state against a floor surface to secure the door or retracted in an unlock state, based on either a wireless signal received from a remote smart device or the state of a manual switch located on apparatus to control the actuator.
CONTROLLING MOTOR MOVEMENT
It is presented a motor controller configured to control movement of a motor to a mechanical end position. The motor controller comprises: a motor output configured to control an amount of energy being supplied to the motor; a motor input configured to measure a back electromotive force, EMF, voltage over the motor; and a control unit being configured to control the amount of energy being supplied on the motor output based on back EMF measurements from the motor input when the motor output is in a state of not supplying energy to the motor wherein the control unit is configured to detect an end position of the motor based on changes of back EMF measurements.
USER SENSING EXIT DEVICE
One embodiment relates to an exit device assembly. The exit device assembly includes a center case, a push pad movably mounted on the center case, and a mechanical case coupled to the center case, wherein the exit device includes an opening. The assembly also includes a sensor aligned with the opening, wherein the sensor is structured to detect a user from a distance through the opening and to generate an output signal in response to detecting the user. The assembly also includes a latch and a latch actuator. The assembly also includes a controller in communication with the sensor and the latch actuator, wherein the controller is structured to transmit an actuating signal in response to receiving the output signal from the sensor, wherein the latch actuator is configured to move the latch from the locked position to the unlocked position in response to the actuating signal.
Control circuit for actuating a locking device for household appliances and device comprising said circuit
The present invention relates to a locking device of a household appliance door comprising a circuit having a first, a second and a third connecting contacts to the household appliance, the device comprising a door locking switch, a door closing switch and an actuator arranged electrically in series with said door closing switch, at least one diode and at least one control switch on said third contact and electrically in series with said actuator. By virtue of this configuration, the locking and the unlocking of the door may be controlled by specific, different predetermined electrical pulses.
MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATING DEVICE HAVING A CENTERED ACTUATING ELEMENT
A movably mounted actuation element and an actuator apparatus for producing a feedback movement of the actuation element depending on an excitation signal are included in an operating apparatus for a motor vehicle. The actuation element has a defined rest position in the housing. The actuation element is arranged in such a rest position in the non-actuated state in which at least one centering element blocks the feedback movement. The actuation element carries out an evasive movement in a direction aligned obliquely or perpendicular to the direction of the feedback movement in the case of an application of an operating force on part of the user, the actuation element switching from the rest position into a released position, in which it is released for the feedback movement by the at least one centering element, as a result of the evasive movement.
VIDEO RECORDING TRIGGERED BY A SMART LOCK DEVICE
An intelligent door lock system for a door at a dwelling. The intelligent door lock system includes a door status device is at the dwelling, an engine, an energy source, a memory, and a camera. The door status device is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the door status device and includes a bolt. The engine, the energy source, and the memory are coupled together. The camera is configured to record in response to door lock status.
Access control devices of the electromagnetic lock module type
An access control device including an electromagnetic lock module for selectively locking and unlocking a door in a door frame is provided. The access control device provides a lower profiled electromagnetic lock module to improve the aesthetics and functionality of the module, supports and integrates modern accessories such as CCTV, CCD cameras, passive motion detection with automatic background correction, digital notification display, automatic source voltage selection, door and lock status indicators, and ease of installation. The present invention further provides components and circuitry to enable connection of the electromagnetic control module to 12 or 24 volts DC or to an unfiltered rectified AC power supply.
