LOCK FOR SLIDING CLOSURE
A locking apparatus for a sliding closure slidable within a frame is disclosed. The locking apparatus comprises at least one locking tang movable transversely to the closure plane, between a locking position and a release position wherein, when in the locking position the locking tang extends laterally, in a direction transverse to the closure lane, beyond the closure to be received within a corresponding locking recess in the frame, such that the locking tangs resist opening of the closure, and when in the release position the locking tang is withdrawn within the dimensions of the frame, such that the closure may be opened or closed. The locking mechanism may also comprise a sensor configured to detect when at least one of the locking tangs are in the locked or released position, and, optionally to trigger an alarm if the locking tang is disengaged.
Latch mechanism of storage case
A latch mechanism of a storage case where a case cover is openably and closably connected to a case body, the latch mechanism includes a latch arm connected to the case body and an arm receiving portion provided on the case cover. A hook is formed on a tip side of the latch arm. A locking claw is formed on a tip side of the arm receiving portion. The arm receiving portion is formed with an inclined surface that guides the hook toward a claw tip of the locking claw.
REFRIGERATOR
Provided is a refrigerator including a body including a storage space; and a door configured to open or close the storage space, wherein the door includes a first door rotatably connected to the body by a hinge; a second door provided to be rotatable with respect to the first door; a magnetic member provided at the body; and a locking device provided at the first door and configured to interact with the magnetic member, wherein the first door and the second door are unlocked in a state where the first door is closed, and the first door and the second door are locked in a state where the first door is opened.
Emergency deadbolt device
A door deadbolt device that can prevent a door from opening operates independently from the lockset installed on the door. The device is easily locked from the inside of the room with a one-handed motion using an insertable tool or key which may be carried separately or stored out of the reach of small children or unauthorized persons. The bolt is positioned so as to be pushed into a locking position under the tension of a spring, thereby easily and securely bolting the door. The present invention further allows the user to rapidly unbolt the door from inside the room also with a one-handed single motion. Optionally, the device can also be unbolted from the outside with a special tool.
Lock assembly on a security door
A lock assembly for a door includes a lock body for mounting above a door lever of the door and including a locking bolt supported in a housing of the lock body for movement between a retracted position and an extended position. The locking bolt is held in the retracted position and spring biased toward the extended position and releasable from the retracted position to move to the extended position in response to actuation of a trigger operatively coupled with the lock body. The lock assembly further includes a door lever assembly adapted for mounting on the door lever in rotative fixed relationship with the door lever, and operatively coupled with the locking bolt so that rotation of the door lever assembly causes movement of the locking bolt from the extended position to the retracted position.
Auxiliary lock with reinforcement structure
An auxiliary lock includes an inside housing mounted to a lock cylinder and a first flange extends axially from one of two ends of the inside housing. A mounting plate is mounted to the lock cylinder and contacts the inside housing. The mounting plate includes a second flange which is mounted to outside of the first flange of the inside housing. The lock cylinder is protected and reinforced in the radial direction by the overlapped first and second flanges. When the inside housing is hit, the inside housing does not expand outward to be pried up. The reinforcement structure is made by way of pressing to use less material and to reduce the manufacturing cost.
System and apparatus for sensing and providing alerts for deadbolt lock status
A deadbolt lock status sensing assembly for monitoring status of a deadbolt member of a deadbolt assembly on a door may include a sensible element mountable on one of the door and the deadbolt assembly, and a sensing element mountable on one of the door and the deadbolt assembly. The sensing element and the sensing element may be configured to move with respect to each other when the deadbolt member of the deadbolt assembly moves between an extended condition and a retracted condition of the deadbolt.
Control structure of door lock
A control structure of a door lock contains: a body, a slide plate, a clutch assembly, a head, a clutch assembly, and a guider. The body includes a chamber, a receiving groove, a motor, a drive gear, a trench, and a resilient element. The slide plate includes a holder, a trough, a lever, a lock cylinder, and a first connection orifice. The clutch assembly is received in the slide plate and includes a first annular ring, a second annular ring, and a third annular ring. The second annular ring includes two first cutouts, two second cutouts, and two recessed portions. The head includes a defining groove, a second connection orifice, and two bosses. The guider rotatably is fixed in the chamber and includes a space and at least two spiral indentations formed on an outer wall of the guider.
Collinear latch and lock
A collinear latching and locking system is disclosed. In embodiments, the system includes a strike with a lock bolt disposed at or defined by an end of the strike. The system further includes a latch pawl configured to surround at least a portion of the strike. The strike and the latch pawl are configured to actuate linearly along the same axis. In this regard, the strike and the latch pawl have a collinear configuration and actuation path. The system further includes a latch cam configured to actuate the latch pawl from a latched position to an unlatched position when the latch cam is turned.
