The toilet seat locking device disclosed herein may comprise a toilet lid cover secured to a toilet by a keyed or padlocked locking mechanism so that it cannot be removed without the appropriate key, code, or combination. The toilet seat locking device may comprise any appropriate flexible, resilient material, and may attach securely to a toilet base by wrapping an adjustable strap around the base. The material of construction of the toilet seat locking device may comprise reusable, waterproof, and antimicrobial characteristics so as to provide additional functional advantages to the device.
Magnetic lock
The invention discloses a magnetic lock, comprising a lock body mechanism and a stopper, wherein the lock body mechanism comprising a housing, a swinging fastener, an inner cover, a latch for engaging with the stopper, and a magnetic unlocking member for controlling disengagement of the latch from the stopper; the swinging fastener is hinged to the inner cover, the inner cover is snapped with the housing, the latch is slidably arranged inside the housing, the swinging fastener comprises a push rod abutting against the latch, and the magnetic unlocking member is used to form a repulsive force applied to the swinging fastener to drive the latch away from the stopper. Unlocking the latch may only be achieved by means of magnetic unlocking member which is independent from the lock body mechanism so as to prevent children from opening this magnetic lock arbitrarily and which is also convenient to use.
Door handle set having a supplemental child-resistant lock
A door handle set includes a handle assembly having a primary lock and having a handle rotatable about a primary rotational axis. A latch bolt assembly has a latch bolt. The latch bolt assembly is operatively coupled to the handle assembly, wherein a rotation of the handle results in a linear translation of the latch bolt. A supplemental lock has a second axis parallel to, and spaced apart from, the primary rotational axis. The supplemental lock has an actuator that is operable relative to the second axis. The supplemental lock is configured to selectively block the rotation of the handle regardless of the locking state of the primary lock.
BARRIER GATE PRESSURE FIT EXTENSION MECHANISM
A barrier assembly is disclosed having a middle door portion that pivots about a vertical axis on one side of the frame. A linear extending actuator provides widening ability to the barrier assembly, and allows a more secure grip on opposing walls.
Medicinal safe, lockable in a medicine cabinet
The present invention is a preferably rectangular sturdy, yet plastic, compartment or safe, small enough to fit inside a medicine cabinet, but large enough to house pill bottles and other medications. The safe has an openable and lockable front door that preferably comprises the safe's front wall. The safe also has laterally expandable side wings that also can be reduced inwardly to the width of the safe or expand beyond this size to contact and grip the interior sidewalls of the medicine cabinet. The wings are able to be locked in the chosen position. They are also preferably shaped to secure themselves and the safe inside a medicine cabinet. The safe door and the wings are lockable by a number of mechanisms, most preferably via a wireless signal transmitted from a device controlled by a local wireless network or internet enabled device. The wings and the front door are meant to lock and unlock together for security.
Locking mechanism and locking body assembly for magnetic lock, and the magnetic lock
The present invention relates to a locking mechanism for a magnetic lock and including a locking body assembly. The locking mechanism includes a lock latch and a slide bar switch that move between an active and non-active positions. The lock latch cannot move freely in the active position, but can in the non-active position. The lock latch receives a magnet, and can move freely through magnetic force action. The locking body assembly includes a locking body and a locking plate. The locking body has a housings that form a cavity. When the locking mechanism and lock latch are fixed in the cavity, a hook portion of the lock latch can extend out of or retract into the cavity as the lock latch pivots, thereby engaging or disengaging with the locking plate, and either locking or unlocking the latch. The magnetic lock includes a key and the locking body assembly.
Refrigerator Locking System
A refrigerator locking system is used to secure the doors of a refrigerator in closed or open positions. The system includes at least one anchor bar, a locking bracket, a door block and a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a frame, at least one refrigerator door and a freezer door. The anchor bar is mounted to the frame in between the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The locking bracket is connected adjacent to the frame and is engaged with to the door block to secure the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The door block can be used to press the refrigerator door and the freezer door against the frame, keeping the refrigerator closed. Alternatively, the door block can be positioned in between the frame and both the refrigerator door and the freezer door to keep the refrigerator open.
Childproof Cabinet Latch System
A childproof cabinet latch system for effectively securing cabinet doors and drawers without damaging wood surfaces. The childproof cabinet latch system generally includes a base, a latch extending outwardly from the base, a catch portion that is adapted to catchably engage an interior surface of a cabinet surrounding an opening in the cabinet, a slot extending through the base, and an opening extending through the base and connected to the slot, wherein the width of the first opening is greater than the width of the first slot. The width of the first opening is also greater than a width of a head of a threaded fastener to allow passage of the head of the threaded fastener through the first opening. The width of the first slot is less than the width of the head of the threaded fastener to prevent passage of the head through the first slot.
SAFETY GATE FOR PETS AND SMALL CHILDREN
A safety gate for preventing pets and small children from passing through an opening, the safety gate comprising: a collapsible frame for selective disposition in the opening, the collapsible frame comprising: a resizable base having a first end and a second end, the resizable base being configured so that the distance between the first end and the second end is adjustable; and first and second arms adjustably secured to the first and second ends of the resizable base, respectively, so as to be re-configurable between (i) a collapsed configuration wherein the first and second arms extend substantially parallel to one another and substantially parallel to the resizable base, and (ii) an expanded configuration wherein the first and second arms extend upright from the resizable base so that the collapsible frame comprises a substantially U-shaped configuration defining a space between the resizable base and the first and second arms; and a flexible barrier for adjustable mounting to the collapsible frame so as to prevent a pet or small child from passing through the space between the resizable base and the first and second arms.
