FOLDING DOOR STRUCTURE
20190078367 · 2019-03-14 ·

A folding door structure is provided. The folding door structure includes an upright column, upper sliding bracket and a lower sliding bracket. The upright column is hinged to the door leaves. The folding door structure further includes a first lock component. The first lock component includes a first latch mounted inside the upright column, and both ends of which are extended out from the top and bottom of the upright column to insert into the upper slide and/or the lower slide. By providing a first lock component and an upright column, a first latch can lock the position of the upright column relative to a door frame in a direction of wind pressure. Accordingly, the stress environment of the upper sliding bracket and the lower sliding bracket is improved, and the reliability and the resistance to high wind pressure of the connection mounting structure between adjacent door leaves are improved.

Fold-up window hardware

A window assembly is disclosed that includes a double-hung window aesthetic with an alternative opening procedure and mechanism. The window assembly may include various hardware systems. The hardware systems may include locking portions to assist in locking sash members to a frame and balance assembly for moving the sash members. The window assembly may be formed of selected materials.

A bi-fold door is opened with a lift assembly having a plurality of straps attached to power driven lift drums. A latch assembly retains the closed bi-fold door secure to side columns of a building. The latch assembly has a latch strap attached to a latch drum that accommodates the latch strap to hold the closed bi-fold door in contact with the side columns of the building. A floor anchor assembly anchors the bottom of the closed bi-fold door to the floor below the closed bi-fold door to stabilize and inhibit bending and deformation of the bi-fold door frame.

An apparatus including a receiving channel and a locking clip for securing a folding door in a closed configuration. The receiving channel is mounted to a side of a door frame associated with a closed configuration of the folding door. The locking clip is mounted to the leading edge of the folding door. The locking clip includes sides that extend past sides of the leading edge of the folding door so as to create a ledge on each side thereof. The receiving channel includes cleats on inner walls thereof. The cleats engage the ledges to secure the locking clip within the receiving channel in a closed configuration. The locking clip may be mounted to a center of the leading edge. The receiving channel may traverse substantially the height of the door frame.

Locking post with an adjustable lock rod

A locking post for a closure having a locking unit in the middle of the post. The locking unit carries a latch movable transversely of the post between locked and unlocked positions. A bottom lock rod unit is slidably mounted in the bottom part of the post. The lock rod unit has a moving block, a lock rod extending from the bottom end of the moving block, and a rigid strap extending from the top end of the moving block to the locking unit and past the latch. The lock rod unit is movable within the post to move the lock rod from an unlocked position within the post out of the bottom end of the post to a locked position and to move the strap down past the latch. The latch on the locking unit is movable transversely of the post to a locked position in the path of movement of the strap to prevent the strap from returning to is unlocked position. An adjustable connection connects the strap to its moving block in a manner to be able to adjust the length of the lock rod unit.

Bi-fold door latch assembly

A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.

AUTOMATICALLY ACTUATED DOOR LOCK SYSTEM

A door package or door assembly is disclosed that includes multiple door panels. A top frame member has one or more tracks upon which one or more door panels may slide relative to a door opening to close the door opening when in a fully extended position and to open the doorway when in a retracted position. When in its retracted or open position, a plurality of door panels may also pivot about a pivot plate attached to the floor to a broken open position essentially perpendicular to the plane of the doorway opening. Upper and lower magnetic latch assemblies are provided that automatically decouple to permit pivoting of the entire door panel assembly when the panels are fully retracted, and when the panels are not fully retracted, are automatically actuated to prevent pivoting of the door panel assembly.

AIRCRAFT LAVATORY DOOR LATCH

A door latch assembly configured to be used in an aircraft lavatory door. The door latch assembly includes a housing that includes a housing interior, a switch member operatively associated with the housing that is rotatable between a first position and a second position, and a locking bolt that is movable linearly between an unlocked position and a locked position. Rotation of the switch member from the first position to the second position moves the locking bolt from the unlocked position to the locked position.

Lockable Coupling Device
20180202197 · 2018-07-19 ·

A coupling device for coupling folding elements of a folding device has first and second coupling elements that lock the folding elements relative to each other. The coupling device has a locking device with sliding element whose rearward part, when the second folding element is not closed, is in a rest position in which a locking member of the sliding element engages a locking receptacle of the first coupling element when the coupling elements are latched. In the rest position, the locking member contacts a guiding contour of the second coupling element and unlocking of the locking member from the locking receptacle by pulling on the coupling elements is prevented. When the second folding element is closed, the rearward part of the sliding element contacts the frame causing the locking member to move along the guiding contour out of the locking receptacle; the locking action is released.
