The clamp assembly further includes a first jaw and a second jaw movable along the elongated bar for clamping to a work surface between the first and second jaws. A connector extends from a first connector end that is pivotally connected to the locking assembly to a second end that can be connected to the portable electronic device. The connector securing the portable electronic device to the work surface while permitting it to pivot with respect to the locking assembly.

LOCK MECHANISMS FOR MERCHANDISE SECURITY SYSTEMS

Embodiments of the present invention are directed to merchandise security devices, systems, and methods for displaying and protecting an article of merchandise from theft. In one example, the merchandise security system includes a security device comprising a sensor configured to be secured to the article of merchandise, a cable configured to releasably engage the sensor, and a lock mechanism configured to releasably lock the cable to the sensor in a locked position. The cable is removable from the sensor when the lock mechanism is in an unlocked position. The system also includes a remote device configured to wirelessly communicate with the security device, wherein the remote device is configured to transmit a command to the security device for locking or unlocking the lock mechanism.

SENSOR POWERED BY ITEM OF MERCHANDISE FOR RETAIL SECURITY

Security systems and methods configured for use with an item of merchandise for retail display are provided. For example, a security system includes a sensor configured to be electrically connected to an internal power source of an item of merchandise and an alarm module configured to communicate with the sensor. The sensor is configured to receive power from the internal power source for performing one or more security functions, and the alarm module is configured to generate a security signal in response to a security event

EXTENSION DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEM

An extension device, including a connecting base and an anti-theft lock assembly, is provided. The connecting base includes a housing, a first moving member, a fixed member, and a second moving member. The fixed member is disposed at one side of the housing and includes a lock hole. The second moving member is movably disposed between the first moving member and the fixed member. The anti-theft lock assembly is detachably disposed at one side of the fixed member opposite to the second moving member. The anti-theft lock assembly is adapted to pass through the lock hole of the fixed member and push against the second moving member, so that the second moving member abuts against the first moving member to stop the first moving member at a buckling position. In addition, an electronic system, including the extension device, is also provided.

ANTI-THEFT LOCK FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
20220205283 · 2022-06-30 ·

An anti-theft lock for a portable electronic device has a mounting shaft, two buckling units, a split-abutting unit, and a controlling unit. The two buckling units are moveably mounted around the mounting shaft. The split-abutting unit is moveable and has an engaging end and a split-abutting end. The split-abutting end selectively abuts the two buckling units via the movement of the split-abutting unit. The controlling unit has an annular curved surface. The annular curved surface slidably abuts the engaging end of the split-abutting unit. During the rotation of the controlling unit, the annular curved surface is capable of pushing the split-abutting unit to make the split-abutting end abut the two buckling units with inclined surfaces to move the two buckling units away from each other. The larger a distance the split-abutting unit moves, the larger a distance the two buckling units move away from each other.

DEVICE COMPATIBLE ENCLOSURE APPARATUS

An apparatus for securely enclosing a portable electronic or computing device using device compatible mounts and/or a device locking mechanism is described. The apparatus may comprise a front retaining frame and a device compatible back plate. The portable electronic or computing device may be enclosed between the front frame and the back plate in some implementations. The back plate may include VESA compatible mounting patterns in some implementations. In some implementations, the front frame and the black plate prevent unauthorized access to one or more controls of the enclosed device while leaving the screen of the enclosed device visible and while permitting audio to pass freely from the enclosed device to the ambient environment as well as from the ambient environment to the enclosed device.
