MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
The invention relates to a method for producing a motor vehicle door lock and to said motor vehicle door lock, comprising a locking mechanism and a lock case (1) for indirectly mounting the locking mechanism, the material thickness (D) of the lock case (1), at least in the region of the mounting (14, 15) of the locking mechanism parts, being adaptable to the forces to be absorbed, and preferably having a greater material thickness (D2).

DECENTRALISED CONTROL UNIT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A decentralized control unit of a motor vehicle, the decentralized control unit having a communication controller, which when installed, communicates via an antenna arrangement with a wireless communication network external to the vehicle by means of a mobile communication standard in order to provide a peripheral function. According to the invention, the communication controller, when installed, generates digital data signals in a preprocessing routine from antenna signals received via the antenna arrangement, and communicates the data signals to a central control unit of the motor vehicle via a communication network internal to the motor vehicle for completion of the peripheral function there.
VEHICLE DOOR HAVING AN EXTENDABLE DOOR HANDLE
A motor vehicle door has a shell and a door handle that can be moved laterally in relation to a vehicle longitudinal axis between a retracted and an extended position. In the retracted position the door handle is in a recess adjusted to the contour of the door handle, the recess being arranged in the shell of the vehicle door with a door handle surface substantially flush with the shell. In the extended position, the door handle is moved laterally outwards so that it is actuatable from outside for opening the vehicle door. In the extended position, the door handle is firstly in active connection with a switch, which is coupled to the electrical unlocking device of a door lock, and secondly is mechanically coupled to the door lock, such that an actuation of the door handle with a minimal actuation path effectuates the switch and an electrical unlocking device of the door lock and an actuation of the door handle with a greater actuation path effectuates a mechanical unlocking of the door lock.

MOTOR-VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
A motor vehicle door lock comprising a locking mechanism that essentially consists of a rotary latch and a pawl. In addition, a lock retainer interacting with the locking mechanism is produced, which is introduced into the locking mechanism in order to achieve the closed position and rests on a load arm of the rotary latch in the closed position of the locking mechanism. According to the invention, the load arm is provided with to force deflection contour for the lock retainer. The force deflection contour changes a force direction acting on the load arm from the lock retainer, at least in the event of an excessive impact of the lock retainer.
Closure system that resists separation when laterally loaded
An exemplary closure system includes, among other things, a striker assembly, a latch assembly, and a hooked structure. In response to the striker assembly and the latch assembly being laterally displaced from each other, the hooked structure engages one of the striker assembly or the latch assembly to block separation of the striker assembly from the latch assembly. An exemplary latching method includes, among other things, engaging a hooked structure in response to a striker assembly being laterally displaced relative to a latch assembly. The engaging blocks the striker assembly from separating relative to the latch assembly.
DOOR HANDLE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A door handle device for a vehicle includes a handle base including an inertia stopper and an operation handle including a stopper protruding portion. The operation handle is movable from an initial position to a use position and to a latch operation position. The inertia stopper has two stopper surfaces and is to rotate from a standby position to a regulation position due to inertia when a collision force is applied to the vehicle. The stopper protruding portion includes a first stopper to, when the operation handle is at the initial position, limit a movement of the operation handle toward the use position by abutting against one of the stopper surfaces, and a second stopper to, when the operation handle is at the use position, limit the movement of the operation handle toward the latch operation position by abutting against another one of the stopper surfaces.
