Automatic Child Safety Lock Release
An automated child safety unlocking system which disengages she child safety locks and may unlock the vehicle door in appropriate circumstances such as when the vehicle ignition has been turned to the off position or when engine is stopped. The automated child safety unlocking system enables operability of the interior vehicle doors by an occupant to allow unencumbered egress from the vehicle to prevent a child or other individual from being trapped in the vehicle. The result is reduced risk that children or other vehicle occupants become dangerously entrapped within an overly hot, cold, or dangerous vehicle.
CLOSURE LATCH FOR VEHICLE DOOR HAVING DOUBLE PULL RELEASE MECHANISM DRIVEN BY CHILD LOCK ACTUATOR
The present disclosure relates to a closure latch for a vehicle door, and more particularly to a closure latch for a vehicle door equipped with a passive entry feature. To this end, the present disclosure relates to the use of a power child lock actuator to manage the double pull function of the closure latch.

MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK STATUS SYSTEM AND RELATED METHOD
A motor vehicle door lock status system is provided. That system includes a door lock actuator, a door lock status indicator for indicating lock status of the multiple motor vehicle doors, and a controller. The controller is connected to the door lock actuator and the door lock status indicator. Further, the controller is configured to provide a door open signal, an all doors closed and locked signal and a failure to lock signal. A related method of indicating door lock status of a motor vehicle is also disclosed.
RETURN MECHANISM FOR DOUBLE PULL DOOR LATCH
A mechanism for a double-pull type door latch is described. A return mechanism is described that includes a final lever coupled to rotate about a pivot. A position wheel is rotationally coupled to the pivot, the position wheel having a first notch and a second notch, the position wheel being rotatable in a first direction. A cam member is coupled to the position wheel, the cam member having a cam surface. A drive lever is arranged to engage the first notch and the second notch. A biasing member is arranged to apply a force on the cam surface to move the position wheel in the first direction when the drive lever is moved into the second notch.

INTERIOR DOOR LOCK OPERATOR INTEGRATED INTO PULL DOOR HANDLE
A side door of a motor vehicle has a door lock actuator for a door lock, and a pivoting lever pivotable about a rotational axis of a joint. The pivoting lever has a coupling section coupled to a mechanical actuating member of the door lock in the installed state. An interior door pull handle has one or more fastening regions and at least one handle region having an axial extent. The pivoting lever is integrated into the handle region of the interior door pull handle. The rotational axis is oriented substantially transversely with respect to the axial extent.

VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, MOBILE TERMINAL, AND IN-VEHICLE DEVICE
A vehicle control system includes an in-vehicle device, a mobile terminal, and one or more processors. The in-vehicle device is mounted on a vehicle. The in-vehicle device controls a lock mechanism that locks and unlocks a door of the vehicle. The in-vehicle device causes the lock mechanism to unlock the door in response to a predetermined condition being satisfied. The mobile terminal communicates with the in-vehicle device. The one or more processors determine whether the mobile terminal is present inside a vehicle compartment. The one or more processors detect whether the mobile terminal is used. The one or more processors control the vehicle control system not to satisfy the predetermined condition in response to determination that the mobile terminal is present inside the vehicle compartment.
Method for operating an opening mechanism
Various embodiments provide a method for operating an opening mechanism which serves for the opening of a motor vehicle lock, wherein the opening mechanism is formed separately from the motor vehicle lock and, for the opening, is coupled mechanically to the motor vehicle lock, wherein the opening mechanism is assigned a control arrangement, a switchable coupling arrangement, an actuating lever and an electric drive arrangement. It is proposed that the overall pivoting region of the actuating lever starting from the starting position comprises a first pivoting region and a second pivoting region following the latter, wherein the motorized opening operation can be triggered by means of the drive arrangement by means of an actuating stroke over the first pivoting region.
