Electronic Central Locking System for Truck Service Body
A locking system is installed inside a truck work body such as a service body. A linear actuator drives a sliding member longitudinally between locked and unlocked positions. The sliding member is supported by slide bearings. A spring may bias the sliding member toward the unlocked position. Locking catches are secured on the compartment doors of storage compartments of the truck work body. Locking members protruding from the sliding member engage the locking catches in the locked position, and disengage from the locking catches in the unlocked position. The actuator may be wirelessly activated by a transmitter key fob. The actuator is mounted by tamper-resistant fasteners that are accessible and removable from the exterior of the work body, to release the actuator and unlock the system in the event of an actuator failure. A single actuator locks all compartments on one side of the work body.
CONTAINER LOCKING SYSTEM
A locking system and method of manufacture can include: a cargo container having a first container door, a second container door, and a container frame base; a lock box affixed to the second container door, the lock box extended into and through the second container door, the lock box including a sliding lock rod configured to extend behind the first container door when the lock box is in a locked configuration; a sliding lock rod guard affixed to an exterior surface of the first container door and affixed to the exterior surface of the second container door; door guards affixed to the second container door and the first container door; and a drop lock affixed to an interior surface of the first container door, the drop lock including a drop lock rod configured to extend down into the container frame base when the drop lock is in a locked configuration.
Remotely Locked Airline Overhead Bins
A storage system that includes storage bins and a locking system. The locking system includes an actuation lever, pins that engage with the storage bins, and an elongated link that extends between and connects the actuation lever to the pins. The locking system is selectively movable between a locked position with the actuation lever in a first position and the pins engaged with the storage bins to prevent the storage bins from moving from the closed position, and an unlocked position with the actuation lever in a second position and the pins disengaged from the storage bins to allow the storage bins to move between the open and closed positions.

Vehicle door lock apparatus
A vehicle door lock apparatus includes housings respectively having a housing chamber and a latch chamber formed therein, a latch mechanism housed in the latch chamber and being configured to retain a door closed with respect to a vehicle frame, and an actuating mechanism housed in the housing chamber for actuating the latch mechanism. A first and a second switch are housed in one of the latch chamber and the housing chamber, and respectively detect states of the actuating mechanism and the latch mechanism. A plurality of terminals is arranged in a first row and a second row in the housing. The first switch is connected to terminals in the first row and the second switch is connected to terminals in the second row such that the plurality of terminals is sandwiched by the first switch and the second switch.

Opposed opening and closing type door structure of vehicle
An opposed opening and closing type door structure of a vehicle is provided. The opposed opening and closing type door structure includes a front door and a rear door that are rotatably disposed in the vehicle to be oppositely opened and closed. A center pillar is rotatably disposed in the rear door and an active striker is disposed in the front door. A latch locked with or released from the active striker and is disposed in the center pillar. Accordingly, the weight of the vehicle and the number of parts of the vehicle is reduced and the front door and the rear door are independently opened and closed.
VEHICULAR CLOSURE LATCH ASSEMBLY WITH ANTI-CHUCKING LATCH MECHANISM
A closure latch assembly for a dual-door closure system in a motor vehicle and configured to provide an anti-chucking mechanism in cooperation with a latch mechanism. The anti-chucking mechanism cooperates with the latch mechanism to provide an anti-chucking feature.
