Handle device for vehicle
11447986 · 2022-09-20 · ·

A handle device for a vehicle in which an operating member linked to a base fixed to a door of a vehicle to be rotatably operable is operated so as to displace an output portion and operate a door lock device in the door linked to the output portion. A displacement amount in the output portion per unit operation angle of the operating member changes according to a rotation position of the operating member.

Low voltage system controller for a truck

A truck cap assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The truck cap assembly may include a cap that sets on opposing side walls of the truck; a cap door located on the cap; a latch bar located on the cap; a controller located on the cap door; and a latch release assembly which includes a motor and a latch arm. The controller is in electrical communication with a motor actuator that is coupled to a latch arm. A signal from the controller activates the motor to move the latch arm. The latch arm is releasable from the latch bar to release the cap door.

Bar lock assembly

A bar lock assembly including a lock rod having first and second lock rod portions and defines a rotational axis. A second lock rod portion section telescopically extends from the first lock rod portion when the bar lock assembly is in a first condition. The second lock rod portion is substantially retracted within the first lock rod portion when the bar lock assembly is in a second condition. An elongated handle having opposed ends extends from the first lock rod portion. One handle end is pivotally connected to the first lock rod about a fixed axis. Linkage between the handle and the second lock rod portion telescopically moves the second lock rod portion. This lock bar assembly is configured such that an angle of about 45° is established between the handle and a generally horizontal plane when in the first position to enhance ergonomic operation of the bar lock assembly.

Motor vehicle latch

A motor vehicle latch, in particular a motor vehicle door latch, that in its basic structure is equipped with a locking mechanism essentially consisting of a catch and at least one pawl. Furthermore, an operating lever mechanism for the locking mechanism having at least one coupling lever and one release lever is realized. In its “coupled position,” the coupling lever connects the release lever mechanically to the locking mechanism, and in its “uncoupled” position separates the release lever from the locking mechanism. In addition, an inertia element for guiding the coupling lever is provided. According to the invention, the inertia element has a guide contour for the coupling lever, which guide contour in a crash event separates the coupled coupling lever from the release lever and transfers the coupling lever to its “uncoupled” position without further mechanical contact.

RETRACTABLE OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY

A retractable outside door handle assembly may include a handle unit including a pushing portion and an outside door handle mounted selectively protruded outwardly to a handle housing, an actuator including a drive motor, a worm connected to the drive motor, a worm wheel engaging with the worm, and an operation rod that moves according to rotation of the worm wheel to push the pushing portion, and a door latch lever that is rotatably mounted on the handle housing and rotates during operation of the outside door handle protruded by operation of the actuator.

LOCK APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE OPEN/CLOSE BODY

In a vehicle lock apparatus (1), an open/close mechanism (3) includes: a drive source (M1); an actuation lever (30) supported coaxial with a fork (10) to be swingable in first and second directions (R1, R2) independently of the fork; and a drive train (50) that swings the actuation lever: in first direction (R1) by transmitting a first driving force from the drive source to the actuation lever, and in second direction (R2) by transmitting a second driving force, opposite to the first driving force, from the drive source to the actuation lever. The actuation lever includes: a first operation portion (39) that can swing in first direction (R1) to abut on the fork and cause the fork to swing to a latched position; and a second operation portion (49) can swing in second direction (R2) to abut on a pawl (20) and displace the pawl to a nonblocking position.
