Tractor hood lock unit

A tractor including an engine hood, engine frames, a lock unit, an operation wire, and a cover member. The lock unit deters the engine hood from being opened. The operation wire is coupled to the lock unit, and is configured to allow unlocking of the lock unit through a release operation of its operable part. The operable part is arranged outward of the engine frames relative to a right-left direction and exposed to the exterior. The cover member covers the operation wire so as to disable manual operation of the operation wire, while allowing operation of the operation wire at least by using a predetermined release tool, the cover member having an opening portion shaped along a movement locus of the operable part of the operation wire.

Low voltage system controller for a truck

A truck cap assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The truck cap assembly may include a cap that sets on opposing side walls of the truck; a cap door located on the cap; a latch bar located on the cap; a controller located on the cap door; and a latch release assembly which includes an actuator and a latch arm. The controller is in electrical communication with an actuator that is coupled to a latch arm. A signal from the controller activates the actuator to move the latch arm. The latch arm is releasable from the latch bar to release the cap door.

Closure latch assembly for front trunk with pedestrian protection features

A pedestrian protection feature for a closure latch assembly and method for moving a hood of a motor vehicle to a pop-up position and an open position are provided. The pedestrian protection feature includes an actuator configured to translate a slide cam member to cause a hook to pivot into a striker retaining position to prevent removal of a striker from the closure latch assembly and to pivot a lift lever into engagement with the striker to move the striker toward the hook, whereat the hood is moved to the pop-up position, and optionally a release feature to move the hook from the striker retaining position to a striker releasing position to allow the hood to be moved from the pop-up position to an open position.

LATCHING DEVICE AND ACCESSORY FOR VEHICLE

A latching device for releasably latching to a support member is disclosed. The latching device has a housing with a first lateral wall, a second lateral wall, and a transverse wall extending between the first lateral wall and the second lateral wall. The first lateral wall and the second lateral wall define respective recesses with a first recess portion and a second recess portion. The first recess portion has a first width, and the second recess portion has a second width. The first width is larger than the second width. The first recess portion is configured for guiding the latching device when positioning the latching device relative to the support member. The second recess portion is shaped for receiving the support member when the latching device is latched to the support member. The latching device also has a rotary latching mechanism with a jaw, a pawl, and an actuator.

Tonneau cover latch system

A latch system for a tonneau cover. The latch system includes a handle that is configured to move about an axis; and a latch pin connected to the handle. The latch pin is configured to move in a retracted direction and during movement of the handle towards the tonneau cover.
