During an opening operation in which the knob rotates from a normal position to a release operation position, the pressing portion pushes the pressure receiving surface while sliding on the pressure receiving surface to rotate the rotor from a lock input position to a release input position, and a length, obtained by projecting a sliding locus of the pressing portion on the pressure receiving surface on a cross-section in an axial perpendicular direction of the rotor, is not less than 0.8 times a length, by which the position of the pressing portion has been actually changed.

A self-adjustable lock knob bezel assembly includes a body of a polymeric material. The body includes an elastically flexible umbrella having a cylindrical bore extending through the umbrella. Multiple dynamic interface members are positioned within the cylindrical bore and extend away from an inner perimeter wall defined by the cylindrical bore toward a longitudinal central axis of the body. Multiple flexible finger sets extend outwardly from the body. Multiple elastically deflecting legs are positioned below the finger sets. A vehicle door panel includes an aperture receiving the body. A lock knob is positioned within the cylindrical bore and directly contacts each of the dynamic interface members in each of a raised un-locked position and a lowered locked position.

A self-adjustable lock knob bezel assembly includes a body of a polymeric material. The body includes an elastically flexible umbrella having a cylindrical bore extending through the umbrella. Multiple dynamic interface members are positioned within the cylindrical bore and extend away from an inner perimeter wall defined by the cylindrical bore toward a longitudinal central axis of the body. A door lock assembly includes a door trim including a through hole, and a locking device that is disposed on a vehicular exterior side with respect to the door trim and locks and unlocks a vehicular door. The locking device includes a lock knob holder and a door lock knob. The lock knob holder has a tubular shape and two holes at two opposite ends and one of the two holes is adjacent to the through hole and another one is an insertion hole. The door lock knob has a bar shape and is disposed in the lock knob holder so as to be movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The door lock assembly further includes an insertion guide portion disposed adjacent to the insertion hole and includes a guide surface having a width that increases as it extends away from the insertion hole.

A door lock assembly includes a door trim including a through hole, and a locking device that is disposed on a vehicular exterior side with respect to the door trim and locks and unlocks a vehicular door. The locking device includes a lock knob holder and a door lock knob. The lock knob holder has a tubular shape and two holes at two opposite ends and one of the two holes is adjacent to the through hole and another one is an insertion hole. The door lock knob has a bar shape and is disposed in the lock knob holder so as to be movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The door lock assembly further includes an insertion guide portion disposed adjacent to the insertion hole and includes a guide surface having a width that increases as it extends away from the insertion hole.

Storage console

A storage console includes a housing with a storage chamber, two closure members connected to the housing, an actuator movably arranged in the housing and a latch mechanism rotatably connected to the housing. The two closure members can be rotated to open or close the storage chamber. The latch mechanism includes two latch members and a synchronizer connected between the two latch members. The movement of the actuator actuates the two latch members to rotate to a lock position in which the two latch members engage with the two closure members or a release position in which the two latch members are separated from the two closure members. The two closure members of the storage console can be opened synchronously by use of the actuator and closed independently of each other.

A storage console includes a housing with a storage chamber, two closure members connected to the housing, an actuator movably arranged in the housing and a latch mechanism rotatably connected to the housing. The two closure members can be rotated to open or close the storage chamber. The latch mechanism includes two latch members and a synchronizer connected between the two latch members. The movement of the actuator actuates the two latch members to rotate to a lock position in which the two latch members engage with the two closure members or a release position in which the two latch members are separated from the two closure members.
