LOCK FOR SLIDING CLOSURE
A locking apparatus for a sliding closure slidable within a frame is disclosed. The locking apparatus comprises at least one locking tang movable transversely to the closure plane, between a locking position and a release position wherein, when in the locking position the locking tang extends laterally, in a direction transverse to the closure lane, beyond the closure to be received within a corresponding locking recess in the frame, such that the locking tangs resist opening of the closure, and when in the release position the locking tang is withdrawn within the dimensions of the frame, such that the closure may be opened or closed. The locking mechanism may also comprise a sensor configured to detect when at least one of the locking tangs are in the locked or released position, and, optionally to trigger an alarm if the locking tang is disengaged.
AUTOMATIC SHOOTBOLT
An automatic shootbolt system or use with a door is provided. The automatic shootbolt system includes a strike and an automatic shootbolt assembly. The automatic shootbolt assembly includes a frame, a shootbolt slidably carried, an actuation lever slidably carried, and a shootbolt latch that acts between the shootbolt and the actuation lever. Actuation of the actuation lever from an extended state towards a retracted state transitions the shootbolt latch from an engaged position to a released position to release the shootbolt such that the shootbolt can transition from a retracted position to an extended position.
Door locking device
Locking device for the opening of a door including two opposite members apt to be mounted to a door and to a post, respectively, and provided with housing holes of screws for the engagement with a surface, one of the bodies including a solid body except for a cavity provided on one of the side walls, the other one of the bodies including an outside shell internally provided with a housing cavity of a sliding body, characterised in that a lock block for the movement of the sliding body is furthermore provided, housed within a cavity provided on the top surface of the outer shell as well as dampening and thrust structure of the sliding body.
Door locking system
A locking system for a door, including a primary locking mechanism and a secondary locking mechanism, in which the primary locking mechanism includes an electrical actuator that causes a first plate and a second plate to be magnetically attracted to one another when actuated such that rotation of a doorknob effects a corresponding rotation of the spindle, and in which the secondary locking mechanism includes a detent that is formed in a knob collar and an aperture that extends through a rotator collar; and a pin that is translatable through the aperture to be disposed in the detent of the knob collar, when the secondary locking mechanism is in an unlocked condition, such that the knob collar and the rotator collar are rotatably fixed to one another.
MAGNETIC-ACTUATION LATCH DEVICE
The disclosure relates to a magnetic-actuation latch device. The magnetic-actuation latch device includes a housing, a latch element, a sliding plate, an elastic component, a rotating element and a limitation element. A lateral opening of the housing spatially corresponds a first magnetic block mounted on a fixed component. When a second magnetic block of the latch element is aligned to the first magnetic block, an actuation force is generated to drive the latch element to pass through the lateral opening and engage with the fixed component. The elastic component is connected between the sliding plate and the housing. When the rotating element is rotated by an external force, the sliding plate is driven to misalign the second magnetic block from the first magnetic block, and the latch element does not pass through the lateral opening. The limitation element is pivotally connected to the housing for blocking the rotating element.
Magnetically-triggered lock mechanism
A lock mechanism for interengaging two relatively movable components includes a bolt mounted within a first component and interengageable with a second component when the first and second components are in a predetermined position relative to each other and the bolt is extended. A magnetically-releasable latch mechanism is positioned to latch the bolt in a retracted position and is mounted for movement between a biased latch engaging position and a latch releasing position in a non-common direction of movement of the bolt. A first magnet is disposed within a trigger being translatable along an axis parallel to a longitudinal axis of the bolt and a second magnet is positioned to displace the latch mechanism to the latch releasing position as the trigger is caused to translate vertically when the first component is in the predetermined position relative to the second component to permit displacement of the bolt to the extended position.
