STRAIGHT ACTION FLUSH LOCK FOR CASEMENT WINDOW AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A low profile actuating window lock for casement windows having a longitudinal slot in a sidewall of the casing for the lock, wherein an actuator including a fork component translates within the slot in a direction opposite movement of the handle, the handle pivotable about a restrictor arm that pivots relative to the casing, allowing the handle to rotate from the locked position to the unlocked position with low clearance from the window frame. The pivot points of the handle and restrictor arm configuration allow for an over center linkage that prevents back driving the casement window lock.
Window lock with adjustable reinforcement members
A window lock with a lock housing positioned on a first window sash and containing a cam rotatably connected to a handle protruding vertically from the housing and including two adjustable reinforcement members extending laterally from the rear surface of the lock housing is provided. The window lock also includes a lock keeper positioned on a second, adjacent window sash with a central slot sized and shaped to receive the cam therein and a pair of channels oriented in longitudinally opposing orientation relative to the central slot, each channel defining a T shape to receive each of the adjustable reinforcement members therein.
Display device with lock cover structure
A display device (10) includes a main body (1), a sliding cover (2) and a lock cover structure (3). The main body (1) has a display screen (11) and a perforation (12); the sliding cover (2) is slidably mounted onto the main body (1) and capable of sliding in a moving direction (d1) between a covering position and an exposed position; the sliding cover (2) has a slot (21) corresponding to the perforation (12) when the slot (21) is situated at the exposed position; the lock cover structure (3) is accommodated in the main body (1) and includes a hammer unit (31) and a moving plunger (32); the hammer unit (31) is pivotally coupled to the main body (1) and defines a direction of gravity (d2); and the moving plunger (32) has an end passing through the perforation (12) and the other end connected to the hammer unit (31).
FUEL DOOR OPENER ASSEMBLY
A fuel door opener assembly is configured to lock or unlock a fuel door of a vehicle and includes: an opener housing in which a space is formed; a locking lever slidably installed inside the opener housing, elastically supported in a direction to be drawn out from the opener housing, and configured to lock and unlock the fuel door; a locking pin configured to be moved along a heart cam formed on the locking lever to restrict a location of the locking lever in accordance with a position thereof on a profile of the heart cam; and an elastic member disposed in the opener housing and elastically supporting the locking pin to allow the locking pin to be positioned on the profile of the heart cam.
Stand-up gun safe
A stand-up gun safe comprises a substantially vertical, but moderately tilted, spine that supports one or more hinges, which in turn support two shell components that rotate relative to the spine and swivel relative to each other. In a closed configuration, the respective edges of the two shell components abut each other, creating a secure seam. In an open configuration, the two shell components are separated from each other as they swivel and rotate away from each other on the hinges secured to the spine. A locking mechanism keeps the two shell components in a closed state. Because the spine is tilted, and the two shells are located on the top of the spine, when the lock is released gravity forces the two shells apart from each other, thereby resulting in a gravity-powered opening.
Locking device for window or door and method of operating thereof
A locking device for a window or a door, wherein the window or the door has a sash slidable in a horizontal direction within a frame. When a user turns on a switch to control a block to move from the first position to the second position, the block protrudes out of a vertical surface of the sash, thereby driving a linkage member to disengage from the frame. At this time, the user could hold and push the block in the horizontal direction to move the sash between a third position and a fourth position. When the sash is pushed back to the third position, the block could be controlled to move back to the first position, namely back to a mounting groove, thereby moving the linkage member to a position where the linkage member is engaged with the frame. A method of operating thereof is provided as well.
Automatically-extendible deadbolt latch assembly
A latch assembly for a door includes automatically deployable deadbolt. When the door is closed and the latch engages a strike plate, the deadbolt automatically extends into a corresponding opening in a door jamb to secure the door.
Trash bin cabinet for a checkout station
A trash bin cabinet for a checkout station in a retail store is described. The checkout station includes the trash bin cabinet with a drawer locking mechanism, and a trash level sensor with an optical notification system. The trash bin cabinet has a drawer unit that contains at least one trash bin. The drawer locking mechanism locks the drawer when the drawer unit is closed so the drawer unit does not come open by itself and become a hazard or a nuisance. The trash level sensor senses the level of trash in the trash bins and sends a trash level status signal to the optical notification system. The optical notification system optically radiates the trash level status signal so people or sensors can monitor the level of trash in the trash bins without visiting the checkout station.
Locking device with a mechanical arrangement for selecting an active side of a door
The present invention relates to a locking device with arrangement for selecting an active side of a door, the locking device comprising a first side configured to face a first side of a door and a second side configured to face a second side of a door when the locking device is mounted in the door, a bolt that is configured to move between an extended position and a retracted position, said movement being in a direction parallel to the first side and the second side, and a bolt operating mechanism configured to control a position of the bolt, and the arrangement comprising a first handle receiving portion arranged on the first side of the locking device, and configured to rotate when a first handle is operated, a second handle receiving portion arranged on the second side of the locking device, and configured to rotate when a second handle is operated, wherein the first handle receiving portion and the second handle receiving portion are configured to move independently of each other; the arrangement also comprising a connector configured to transmit a movement from the first handle receiving portion or the second handle receiving portion to the bolt operating mechanism of the locking device; an actuator movable from a first position, in which it connects the first handle receiving portion to the connector to a second position in which it connects the second handle receiving portion to the connector, so that a rotation of the first handle receiving portion or second handle receiving portion is configured to generate a movement of the bolt; and a fastening device configured to fixate the actuator in the first position or the second position, wherein the fastening device is configured to be accessible from a third side of the locking device, said third side being essentially perpendicular to the first and second side.
RESIDENTIAL ENTRYWAY DOOR WITH CONCEALED MULTIPOINT LOCK
