True indicating automated sash lock
An automated sash lock for locking a window sash comprises a linearly depressible trigger, a cam-style locking element normally biased towards a locked position, a rotatable detent actuated by the trigger, a pivotable transfer element between the detent and the locking element, and an actuator for manually operating the lock mechanism to unlock the lock when the window is in a closed and locked position. The detent is normally biased in the direction of the locking element and a portion of the detent engages a body portion of the locking element to maintain the locking element in a retracted position when the window is open. Upon actuation of the trigger by a closing window, the trigger translates linearly into the lock housing and rotates the detent into the disengaged position, pulling the detent away from the locking element and allowing the locking element to fire out of the lock housing and into an opening in a strike in the adjacent sash to prevent the sashes from relative sliding movement.
Outdoor unit for air conditioner and housing thereof
An outdoor unit for an air conditioner and a housing of the outdoor unit are disclosed. The housing includes a cabinet body, a side-by-side door and a door-latching assembly. The side-by-side door is used to open and close the cabinet body, and includes a first door body and a second door body which are opened side by side. The door-latching assembly includes a cabinet-locking member provided on the cabinet body, a door-locking member provided on the first door body and a latch member provided on the second door body. The latch member is movable with respect to the second door body between a locked position where the latch member cooperates with both the cabinet-locking member and the door-locking member in a locked manner and an unlocked position wherein the latch member is separated from both the cabinet-locking member and the door-locking member.
METHODS OF OPERATING A LOCK
A method of controlling a lock mechanism of an active door includes transiting an access controller of the lock mechanism to an authorized access mode and transitioning the access controller from the authorized access mode to an entry mode. Transitioning the access controller to the authorized access mode is in response to an authorized user being sensed approaching the active door from an exterior side of the active door or in response to input on a remote device. In the authorized access mode, an exterior handle of the active door is decoupled from a main latch of the lock mechanism. Transitioning the access controller to the entry mode is in response to sensed contact with the exterior handle. In the entry mode, the exterior handle is capable of rotating to transition the access controller to an unlocked mode in which the exterior handle is operably coupled to the main latch.
METHODS OF OPERATING A LOCK
A method of controlling a lock mechanism of an active door includes transiting an access controller of the lock mechanism to an authorized access mode and transitioning the access controller from the authorized access mode to an entry mode. Transitioning the access controller to the authorized access mode is in response to an authorized user being sensed approaching the active door from an exterior side of the active door or in response to input on a remote device. In the authorized access mode, an exterior handle of the active door is decoupled from a main latch of the lock mechanism. In the entry mode, the exterior handle is capable of rotating to transition the access controller to an unlocked mode in which the exterior handle is operably coupled to the main latch.

A flush bolt assembly includes a latch bolt that has a head and a body. The body has an interior cavity that is defined by a plurality of walls. A guide slot is formed in a pair of sidewalls. The assembly also includes a sleeve that defines a through hole that is configured to receive a pin. A biasing member is disposed within the interior cavity, and it is configured to store energy upon being compressed between the sleeve and the latch bolt.

Latch arrangement
A latch arrangement for a sliding wing has a latching member that is movable by magnetic force from first position in which it is at least partially retracted within a latch housing, to a second position in which it extends at least partially out of the housing, to be received in a strike. The strike comprises a magnet or ferromagnetic arrangement to attract the latching member into a receiving and engaging formation of the strike when the sliding wing is located at or adjacent the strike.
Multipoint lock
A multipoint lock for securing a door panel is described. The multipoint lock includes a first latch, a second latch, a first hub rotatable with at least one of a thumb-turn knob or a key, and a second hub rotatable with a handle lever. Upward rotation of the handle lever causes both rotation of the first hub and rotation of the second hub in the same rotational direction.
Security lock for vehicles
A security lock for vehicles, especially for the cargo compartments of lorries or vans, but also usable on other doors, uses a clamp having two halves or plates such that same hold a bolt, increasing the contact area in the event of a possible attack or leverage, and, if the surface of the vehicle becomes deformed, the two halves jam the bolt, further increasing security and reducing the possibility of opening. In the security lock, the system of inside opening by a cable is eliminated. Further, opening from the inside of the vehicle is performed by rotating a shaft or handle perpendicular to the surface of the vehicle, preventing the vehicle from being accessed from the outside.
DUAL LOCK LOCKING SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS
A locking system is mounted to a door with three rods extending therefrom. The rods have a locked position extending beyond the periphery of the door and an unlocked position not extending beyond the periphery of the door. Three rod receivers are adapted to receive the three rods in the locked position. A handle rotatably engages cam plates which are operatively engaged with the rods whereby rotation of the handle rotates the cam which moves the rod ends from one position to the other. A locking tab extends forwardly from the lower cam plate into a recess and is engaged by a circular lock while the recess prevents movement of the engaged circular lock. A second locking tab extends forwardly from the rod-locking link and a stationary locking tab is aligned thereto. Both locking tabs are engaged by a padlock preventing movement of the rod-locking link.
