LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR NEMA ENCLOSURES
An enclosure is provided which meets NEMA standards of construction but with an improved latch assembly including a latch coupled to opposed latch arms which permits closure and locking of the front panel of the enclosure without the use of a key to operate the latch.
Rotary actuated slam latch system
Rotary actuated latch systems with linearly acting latch rods, and methods of assembling rotary actuated latch systems with linearly acting rods are disclosed. In some aspects, the rotary actuated latch systems are self-engaging and comprise a handle having two guides, the handle operably attached to a spring, two latch rods comprising clevises operably attached to the two guides, and at least two strike plates for actuating the latching system without additional user input. The spring applies equal tension to the two linearly acting latch rods, allowing for smooth operation of the latching system without binding while providing for a compact design that eliminates stresses imposed by conventional latch systems where the latch rods rotate off-axis. In some embodiments, the rotary actuated latch system may be assembled as a complete unit, prior to installation on the mechanism to be latched.
Electronic device and locking mechanism
There is provided an electronic device including: a supporting body; a movable body provided in a movable manner with respect to the supporting body; and a locking mechanism configured to lock the movable body to the supporting body. The locking mechanism includes a locking member provided on the supporting body and configured to lock the movable body, a manipulating member connected to the locking member and provided such that the manipulating member is able to be moved between a locking position at which the movable body is locked by the locking member and a releasing position at which the locking of the movable body by the locking member is released, and a holding member configured to hold the manipulating member at the locking position or at the releasing position in accordance with a position of the movable body with respect to the supporting body.
DOOR LOCKING MECHANISM
A locking system for an enclosure, including a control bracket mounted to a door of the enclosure and configured to slide in a longitudinal direction along a guide rod running through a pin bracket of the control bracket. The control bracket further includes a latching pin to secure the door of the enclosure. A handle mechanism has a push rod that causes the control bracket to slide along the longitudinal direction, also causing the latching pin to move into a position that secures the door.
Simple locking device
A simple locking device includes a locking bracket, a locking tongue piece, a tension spring, a tension side wall, a base, at least two guide shafts, connection components and, wherein the locking bracket includes a lock piece, at least two guide holes and a retaining piece; the tension side wall is fixed to the base; and the at least two guide shafts respectively pass through the at least two guide holes to mount the locking bracket onto the base, such that the locking bracket is guided by the guide holes to move.
Lid attached storage device
A lid attached storage device includes: a box body having an opening; left and right lid bodies configured to cover left and right sides of the opening; and left and right opening and closing mechanisms configured to respectively cause the left and right lid bodies to be slidable in the front and rear direction and rotatable in the up and down direction with respect to the box body, each of the left and right opening and closing mechanisms including: a base member; a rotational support portion configured to support the base member so as to be rotatable in the up and down direction about a left or right side of the box body with respect to the box body; and a slide portion configured to slide the lid body in the front and rear direction with respect to the base member.
OVERHEAD STORAGE BIN LATCH SYSTEM
A latch system that includes a paddle button assembly having a button that is movable between home and actuation positions, a latch assembly that includes a striker assembly with a striker and a hook assembly, and a cable that extends between the paddle button and latch assemblies. The hook assembly includes a hook, a pivotal trigger arm, and a manual override switch that is movable between first and second positions when the trigger arm is moved from an engaged position to a disengaged position. Movement of the button from the home position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the cable, thereby pivoting the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the striker. Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the manual override switch from the first to the second position.
Lock release apparatus and lock apparatus having the same
An embodiment provides a lock-release apparatus including: a rotation member to actuate a locking member; a case member rotatably supporting the rotation member; an operation member slidable in a direction substantially in parallel to a rotation plane of the rotation member; and a spring member urging the rotation member in a given rotation direction. The lock-release apparatus further includes a link structure converting a sliding movement of the operation member into a rotational movement of the rotation member. More specifically, the case member includes: an accommodation section slidably accommodating the operation member to allow an operation face thereof to be exposed; and a support section rotatably supporting the rotation member.
Overhead storage bin latch system
A aircraft storage bin latch system that includes a paddle button assembly having a button that is movable between home and actuation positions, a latch assembly that includes a striker assembly with a striker and a hook assembly, and a cable that extends between the paddle button assembly and the latch assembly. The hook assembly includes a hook, a pivotal trigger arm, and an indicator that is movable between first and second positions when the trigger arm is moved from an engaged position to a disengaged position. Movement of the button from the home position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the cable, thereby pivoting the trigger arm from the engaged position to the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the striker. Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged position to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the indicator from the first position to the second position.
