Sliding door for motor vehicles
A motor vehicle sliding door can be moved by a sliding movement between open and closed positions, wherein, in order to lock the sliding door in the open position, a mechanical door stop in the form of a locking latch which has a receiving region for a catch element of the sliding door is provided, and wherein the locking latch can be released by a motorized actuation device, whereby the catch element is released. In the event of failure of the motorized actuation device of the locking latch, for an intuitive unlocking and locking of the sliding door in the open position thereof may be achieved in that the locking latch has a resiliently loaded overload lever, in that the overload lever forms a lateral portion of the receiving region of the locking latch and in that, when the locking latch is locked, the overload lever can be pivoted outward when a specific pushing force of the sliding door is exceeded.

Double-action, adjustable, after-market sash stop
An adjustable stop limits sliding sash window/door travel between a closed position and a safe position, where the safe position is a position less than a full-open position. The stop can be installed upon window/door master frames during initial manufacturing, or as an after-market option while the sash windows/doors are in service in a building. The safety stop may be comprised of a housing and a tumbler being pivotally mounted within a cavity in the housing, with a spring to bias the tumbler out of an opening in the housing. Mounting is by a flange extending from the housing, with spacers of varying thickness that are capable of removably attaching thereon to accommodate sash to master frame height differences. A safety member may be added to either the tumbler or housing to create a double action stop, requiring disengagement of the safety member, prior to toggling of the stop.

DEHYDRATOR DOOR OPENING DEVICE
A dehydrator is disclosed that includes a cavity, door and positioning mechanism. The cavity is defined by multiple walls and has an open front that the door covers. The door is movable between a closed position and a fully open position, and the positioning mechanism can stop and maintain the door at any partially open position in between. The positioning mechanism can be part of a door handle that can be used to move the door with one hand. The positioning mechanism can use magnets and the door tracks can be magnetic to hold the door at any desired position. The positioning mechanism can be movable between an engaged position where the magnets are connected to the door tracks, and a disengaged position where they are not connected. The dehydrator handle can include a hinge that moves the positioning mechanism between the engaged and disengaged positions.
WINDOW BALANCE SHOES FOR A PIVOTABLE WINDOW
A balance shoe for a block and tackle window balance system includes an enlarged head portion housing a locking system configured to receive at least a portion of a pivot bar and releasably engage a jamb track. An elongate tail portion configured to couple at least partially within a U-shaped channel of the window balance system. A front face, the front face of the elongate tail portion being adjacent to a base wall of the U-shaped channel when the elongate tail portion is coupled therein. The front face including an elongate channel configured to allow passage of the pivot bar from the elongate tail portion towards the locking system. The balance shoe also including at least one protrusion extending from the front face of the elongate tail portion and disposed at least partially within the elongate channel.
METHOD FOR INSTALLING A GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR A MOVABLE FURNITURE PART
A method for installing a guide assembly for a movable furniture part includes preferably carrying out chronologically in the following order: arranging on the furniture wall a first guide rail for guiding the movable furniture part, and arranging on a first longitudinal side of the first guide rail a drive device for influencing the movement of the movable furniture part on the furniture wall, the first guide rail and the drive device preferably being connected together. If the movable furniture part comprises at least two door leaves connected together in an articulated manner, arranging a second guide rail for guiding the movable furniture part on the furniture wall on a second longitudinal side of the first guide rail, the first guide rail and the second guide rail preferably being connected together in a form-fitting and/or movable manner in particular.
Window Vent Stop with Flexible Side Engagement Pieces
A window vent stop for use in a sliding sash window assembly or a sliding door assembly. The vent stop has a housing adapted to be disposed in a recess in the non-movable sash member. This housing includes a cavity with a bottom plate therein. The tumbler has at least one pivot for pivotally securing the tumbler to the housing for movement between an extended position to prevent movement of the sliding member and a retracted position, to allow movement of the sliding member. Also within the housing is a spring for biasing the tumbler. The housing has one or more flexible members extending from the end walls of the housing that secure the housing to an opening in a window sash when a portion of the window sash is positioned between the underside of a lip on said housing and the flexible member.
