The panelboard guard assembly further includes an adjustment mechanism that extends between and couples the members together, the adjustment mechanism facilitating adjustment of the distance between the outer ends of the members.

The rotatable end may be coupled with a door. The hasp protector assembly may also include an anchor bracket coupled with the door. The rotatable end permits the guard frame to rotate to a protective position in which the fastening end can be secured to the anchor bracket. In the protective position, the seal and the hasp locking mechanism are disposed between the guard frame and the door and are visible from opposite sides of the guard frame. The hasp protector assembly may be assembled by securing the anchor bracket and the guard frame to the door and coupling the fastening end to the anchor bracket.

Conversely, the tube is positionable in a second position having the tube extending across the door and having the tube resting in the bracket to inhibit the door from opening.

A panel has a ballistic core that resists bullets, a front face, an opening, and a cover positioned over the opening to overlay and enclose a door knob protruding through the opening. The front face forms, or has affixed to it, a writing surface. The panel pivots between a plurality of angled positions to facilitate writing and an upright position flat against the door. A locking rod, rotatably connected to the panel, pushes and pulls the panel between its angled positions and its upright position. A portal defined by a ballistic door viewer or viewport is located in the panel and permits viewing or observing through the panel. A release system is configured to deactivate the stop and enable the device to move.

Disclosed are apparatus and corresponding and/or associated methodology for door barricade systems which may be activated from inside an enclosure (or room) while still maintaining controlled serviceability or access to the enclosure from outside of the enclosure. Per some embodiments, bolts passed through a doorframe as a retrofit feature may support an interior plate which has a channel or passage for receipt of a manually removable door block member. The bolts are secured by an exterior plate and custom nuts which have customized drive surfaces. Corresponding custom drive head features interface with the custom nuts for either installation or removal of the door barricade system, even if the door block member is in place. Corresponding hole features on the custom nuts match with custom drive head pin features to provide an effective keyed entrance, which is hardened against forced entry if a person outside the secured room does not have the appropriate custom drive head.

A locking mechanism for a swinging door movable between a door closed position and a door open position and including a latch, the locking mechanism including a bolt housing, a movable bolt slidably mounted in the bolt housing, the movable bolt having a first end and second end, and a spring mounted in the bolt housing between the bolt second end and a portion of the bolt housing and biasing the bolt towards the bolt first end. The locking mechanism also includes a locking plate having a hole therein, the locking plate being slidably mounted in the bolt housing and movable between a bolt unlocked position where the locking plate hole is aligned with the bolt so that the bolt can move freely towards the bolt second end, and a bolt locked position where the locking plate hole is not aligned with the bolt and where the bolt movement toward the bolt second end is limited. The locking mechanism also includes a locking plate moving mechanism for moving the locking plate between its bolt locking position and its bolt unlocked position, the latch engaging the bolt first end and preventing the door from opening if the latch and the bolt first end cannot move past one another.
