A joining structure for two door members forming a door member for entrance opening and closing of an aircraft lavatory unit is configured so that a pair of brackets provided on the pair of door members are joined swingably by a bracket joining shaft; and one ends of a pair of covers are joined to the pair of brackets by bracket cover joining shafts, and the other ends of the pair of covers are joined swingably by a cover joining shaft, at a section farther away from the lavatory than the bracket joining shaft.

Appliance lid hinge

An appliance lid hinge assembly includes a cam arm pivotally connected a base. A cam arm control system includes a spring rod adapted to move in a sliding reciprocal manner. A spring urges the spring rod toward an extended position. The spring rod is movable toward a retracted position. The cam arm is engaged with the spring rod through a cam follower such that: (i) pivoting movement of the cam arm in an opening direction corresponds with movement of the spring rod from the retracted position toward the extended position; and, (ii) pivoting movement of the cam arm in a closing direction opposite the opening direction corresponds with movement of the spring rod from the extended position toward the retracted position. An optional damper exerts a damping force on the spring rod or other part of the cam arm control system when the cam arm moves in a closing direction.

A screen door for a cooling package of a vehicle that includes proximal and distal frame posts, screen surface, torsion bar, stationary support, torsion bracket and fastener. The proximal frame post is hingedly coupled to the cooling package, and the distal frame post can be hingedly coupled to a secondary door. Proximal end of torsion bar is fixedly attached to proximal frame post, and distal end is moveable relative to the distal frame post. Stationary support is fixedly attached to distal frame post. Torsion bracket is fixedly attached to distal end of torsion bar, and is moveable relative to stationary support. Fastener maintains torsion bracket in a desired position relative to stationary support. Movement of torsion bracket relative to stationary support applies an adjustable torsion on torsion bar, and fastener maintains the adjustable torsion. An adjustment member can be attached to fastener between torsion bracket and stationary support.

Torsion spring door closing apparatus

A torsion spring door closing apparatus for automatically closing doors with minimal hardware includes a torsion spring having a central coiled portion and a pair of arms. The coiled portion is configured to fit around a shaft of a hinge pin of a door hinge. The pair of arms comprises a hook arm and a catch arm each extending from the coiled portion. The pair of arms moves between a closed position and an open position and the torsion spring is biased towards the open position. When a door opens and squeezes the pair of arms towards the closed position they rebound to force the door to close again. A hook end of the hook is selectively engageable with a catch end of the catch arm to secure the torsion spring in the closed position and disengage the apparatus.

Guide system for furniture parts

A guide system includes a first guide rail and a second guide rail for guiding furniture parts. The second guide rail extends transversely relative to the first guide rail in a mounted position. A guiding device is to be connected to one of the furniture parts, and is movable relative to the first and second guide rails and can be transferred in a crossing region between the first and second guide rail. The guide system has a drive device with an entrainment member acted upon by a force storage member and configured to be releasably coupled to the guiding device. The entrainment member is locked in a parking position and can be unlocked by an entry of the guiding device into the crossing region. Thus, the entrainment member and the guiding device coupled therewith can be retracted along the second guide rail by a force of the force storage member.

A lifting apparatus is provided. The lifting apparatus includes a lifting cable supported relative to the ceiling structure, the lifting cable extending along a vertical direction and attaching to a lift point on the flexible divider. The lifting cable is retractable in the vertical direction to lift the flexible divider from a lowered configuration to a raised configuration. The lifting apparatus further includes a guiding element for guiding a position of the lifting cable along a horizontal direction while the flexible divider moves between the lowered configuration and the raised configuration. The guiding element is movably mounted to the ceiling structure to move between a first horizontal position when the flexible divider is in the lowered configuration, and a second horizontal position when the flexible divider is in the raised configuration.

Door closer adjustment mechanism

Certain embodiments relate to an adjustment indicator mechanism for a door closer including a tubular portion and an adjustment screw mounted to the tubular portion. A housing is configured for mounting to the door closer, and includes a channel and indicia adjacent the channel, each of the indicia corresponding to a respective size of the door closer. An adjustment transmission includes a first component configured for coupling with the adjustment screw. An indicator transmission is engaged with the adjustment transmission and mounted in the housing. An indicator is movably mounted to the housing such that a portion of the indicator is visible via the channel. The indicator is engaged with the indicator transmission such that movement of the indicator transmission causes the indicator to selectively align with the indicia to thereby indicate the current size of the door closer.
