Sliding Fire Door
A sliding fire door is disclosed with an improved tightness of the closure by the door main body. The sliding fire door includes an opening frame, a fire door, and a guiding mechanism. The guiding mechanism includes a guide roller group which includes a plurality of guide rollers arranged one adjacent to another along the slide direction and which is configured to guide the door main body. The guiding mechanism is configured to guide the door main body such that the door main body is moved from an opening position to a closing position. The door main body has a first opposing surface which is oriented toward the wall. The opening frame has a second opposing surface which is oriented toward the first opposing surface of the door main body in the closing position. The guiding mechanism moves the door main body to cause the first opposing surface to be moved closer to the second opposing surface when the door main body is moved from the opening position to the closing position.
Double hinged access panel for aircraft
An access door assembly includes a door panel located at a door opening and a primary hinge having a primary hinge axis and operably connected to the door panel. A guide track is affixed at the door opening and is operably connected to the door panel to guide rotation of the door panel about the first hinge axis. A secondary hinge having a secondary hinge axis is operably connected to the door panel. The secondary hinge allows for rotation of a first portion of the door panel about the secondary hinge axis, while a second portion of the door panel is stationary.
A Door Closer
A door closer including: a body defining a chamber therein; a piston slidably supported within the chamber, and dividing the chamber into first and second cavities either side of the piston, which in use receive liquid; a biasing device for biasing the piston towards the first cavity; a passageway connecting the first cavity to the second cavity for permitting the flow of fluid therebetween; a blocking member for controlling the flow of liquid through the passageway between the cavities; a moveable member moveable between first and second positions, wherein when the moveable member is in its first position the moveable member causes or permits the blocking member to assume a blocking position, thus preventing or at least inhibiting the flow of liquid from the first to the second cavity, and wherein when the moveable member is in its second position the moveable member causes or permits the blocking member to assume a non-blocking position, thus permitting the flow of liquid from the first to the second cavity; and a permanent magnet positioned adjacent or close to the moveable member for holding the moveable member in its first position; wherein the door closer includes a pole switching device that can produce a magnetic field that is in opposition to the magnetic field of the permanent magnet to effectively cancel out or overcome the magnetic field of the permanent magnet and produce a net magnetic field that is either zero or in the opposite direction to the magnetic field of the permanent magnet so as to effect movement of the moveable member between its first and second positions.
Emergency opening device for a closure
An integrated system for releasing trapped persons in a vehicle (PARIS) includes a central management unit (CPU) to which sensors (D1, D2, . . . Dn), an input-output socket (S) for connecting a service computer and control switches or buttons, and at least the following are connected at an output of the central management unit: an automatic seatbelt cutting system (SBC), a system for automatically opening door locks and bolts and locking them in the open position (LOB), and a system for automatically swinging doors and locking them in the open position (DOB).
Electric latch retraction with power interrupt
An exemplary access control device includes a locking member having a locked position and an unlocked position; an electronic actuator operably connected with the locking member; a switch connected between the electronic actuator and a power supply, the switch having a closed state in which the electronic actuator is connected to the power supply and is operable to maintain the locking member in the unlocked position, the switch having an open state in which the electronic actuator is disconnected from the power supply; and a manual actuator operable to transition the switch between the open state and the closed state.
Contactless operation of lavatory doors
A system for contactless operation of an aircraft lavatory door comprises a controller operatively connected to control an actuator for opening and closing a lavatory door. A gesture sensing system is operatively connected to the controller for sending gesture data to the controller indicative of a user gesturing for the actuator to actuate. A mmWave radar sensing system is operatively connected to the controller to indicate user presence. The controller includes machine readable instructions configured to verify gesture input from the gesture sensing system using input from the mmWave radar sensing system before controlling the actuator to open or close the lavatory door.
Panic device with door closer
Disclosed is a panic bar with a door closer, the panic bar having a locking device installed at a front end of a case and a door closer provided at a rear end of the case. The locking device is released upon pushing of the push bar provided in the case. An air cylinder is installed inside the case. A guide member is installed in one side of the air cylinder and a cylinder sealing cap is installed in the other side of the air cylinder. One side of a piston rod having a piston for compressing and expanding air inside the air cylinder passes through the guide member. A spring disposed between the piston and the guide member is installed on the piston rod.
EMERGENCY OPENING DEVICE FOR A CLOSURE
Methods of emergency opening of manholes in emergency situations, devices and systems for their embodiment and methods of assembling devices for emergency opening of movable elements installed in manholes.
MINE VENTILATION DOOR WITH WINGS AND SLIDABLE OR POCKET PERSONNEL DOOR
A personnel access door assembly of an opposing wing of a mine ventilation door. The personnel access door includes a frame including a top portion, a bottom portion, a first post portion and a second post portion, the top frame portion and the bottom frame portion coupled to respective top and bottom ends of the first post and second post portions. The personnel access door further includes sets of trolley wheels affixed to the top or bottom of the frame to engage a top rail or bottom rail affixed on the opposing wing.
Driving device for opening and closing
A driving device for opening and closing an opening/closing body of a vehicle. The driving device comprises a nut member that moves linearly by way of rotation of a rod member and is threadably engaged with the rod member, and an engaging member that can be engaged with an engagement-receiving member provided on the rod member that is moved by way of a link arm linked to actuation of a solenoid such that rotation of the rod member can be stopped. The link arm has a mechanical structure that limits vibrations that change the vibration status of the engaging member. By using this driving device, impact noise during actuation of the driving device can be mitigated, or the pitch of the noise can be altered, so as not to discomfort passengers.
