LOCK MANDREL WITH SPRING-LOADED LOCKING COLLAR
A lock mandrel is described herein. The lock mandrel includes an upper connector and a lower connector. The upper connector includes locking keys configured to attach the lock mandrel to a landing nipple on a tubing within a hydrocarbon well. The upper connector also includes a spring-loaded locking collar configured to prevent the locking keys from disengaging from the landing nipple by pressing radially against the locking keys from the inside when in a seated position, and allow the locking keys to disengage from the landing nipple by retracting away from the locking keys when in an unseated position. The lower connector includes a tool adaptor configured to attach a downhole tool to the lock mandrel.
System and method for providing oscillation downhole
A technique employs the use of oscillations downhole to facilitate a desired functionality of a downhole tool. According to this technique, a tool is initially conveyed downhole and operated to perform a function that relates to a downhole application. The operational efficiency of the tool is improved by creating oscillating forces which vibrate the tool to achieve a desired result, e.g. freeing the tool from a stuck position.

Downhole auxiliary drilling apparatus
The present invention provides a downhole auxiliary drilling apparatus, including an impact energy generator capable of converting the energy of the drilling fluid to the axial impact energy, and an impact energy distributor capable of redistributing the impact energy generated by the impact energy generator to convert the axial impact force into a combined impact force, which provides the drilling bit with a high-frequently changing combined impact force, thus greatly improving the rock breaking efficiency and the rate of penetration of the drilling tool. The downhole auxiliary drilling apparatus is further provided with a shock-absorbing and torque-stabilizing device arranged between the impact energy generator and the impact energy distributor, which can reduce the axial vibration of the drilling tool and the damage on the drilling bit, and greatly extend the lifetime of the drilling bit.
Multi-accumulator arrangement for hydraulic percussion mechanism
The present invention relates to a hydraulically powered percussion mechanism (12), comprising a piston (6) to impact a percussion bit (8). The percussion mechanism also includes a first accumulator assembly (3a) for hydraulic fluid. The first accumulator assembly comprises a plurality of first accumulator elements (27). In a first aspect, the plurality of first accumulator elements are arranged in a common housing (14). In a second aspect, each of the first accumulator elements is arranged at the same proximity to the piston. In a third aspect, each of the first accumulator elements comprises an accumulator membrane (32) or piston, and wherein the primary direction of movement of the membrane or piston in contact with the hydraulic fluid is substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the mechanism.
Percussion drilling device
A percussion drilling device for drilling in earth includes at least one housing section for a main piston, and a ring insert arranged in the housing section in front of the main piston so that the ring insert transmits at least part of the energy of the main piston onto the housing. The ring insert is attached to the housing by a shrink-fit connection.

Systems and Methods for Downhole Service Tools
A mechanical service tool that may include one or more anchors, a cutter, a communication and control system, and one or more sensors, as well as methods for operating the mechanical service tool, are provided. The one or more anchors may extend radially from the mechanical service tool and the cutter may move relative to the mechanical service tool. The cutter may include a drilling bit. The communication and control system may obtain remote commands that control the cutter, the one or more anchors, or both. The one or more sensors may detect operational conditions of the mechanical service tool and may be operatively coupled to the communication and control system.
Self-Hammering Cutting Tool
A cutting tool with a plurality of cutting elements connected to a support structure wherein a portion of the support structure is configured to flex or bend based on the rotational frequency of the cutting tool. The rotational frequency of the cutting tool is a product of the design and composition of the tool.
Ground drilling device, method for making a ground drilling device, method for maintaining a ground drilling device, and use of a ground drilling device
A ground drilling device comprising a housing, a lengthwise movable drilling head tip arranged in the housing, and a bearing for supporting the drilling head tip in the housing during its lengthwise movement.
