Downhole Conveyance Line Cutter
A downhole conveyance line cutter operable to be conveyed downhole within a wellbore along a conveyance line that conveys a tool string within the wellbore, connect to the conveyance line, and cut the conveyance line. The downhole conveyance line cutter may comprise a body, a cutting member operable to cut the conveyance line, and a clamping mechanism operable to connect the downhole conveyance line cutter to the conveyance line. The clamping mechanism may comprise a clamping member pivotably connected with the body and an actuator operable to pivot the clamping member to cause the clamping member to engage the conveyance line thereby connecting the downhole tool to the conveyance line such that the downhole tool can be retrieved out of the wellbore via the conveyance line after the downhole tool cuts the conveyance line.

Method and apparatus for pinching control lines
A control line pinching mechanism can include a pinching sleeve, a clamping sleeve, a tubing, a control line, and a pinching block. The clamping sleeve can have a slot. A control line can extend between the tubing and the slot of the clamping sleeve. A pinching block can be disposed within the slot of the clamping sleeve. The pinching sleeve can be movable relative to the slot from a released position to a pinching position in which the pinching sleeve contacts and radially compresses the pinching block against the control line to pinch the control line against the tubing.

BALL VALVE ASSEMBLY
A ball valve assembly includes a ball having a fluid pathway and a leading edge portion. The ball is configured to rotate between an open position and a closed position, the fluid pathway is configured to align with a fluid passage while the ball is in the open position, and the fluid pathway is configured to be offset from the fluid passage while the ball is in the closed position. Furthermore, the leading edge portion includes a first leading edge configured to cut a line extending through the fluid pathway as the ball rotates from the open position to the closed position, the leading edge portion includes a second leading edge configured to engage a seal of the ball valve assembly as the ball rotates from the open position to the closed position, and the first leading edge is positioned radially inward from the second leading edge.

Method and apparatus for removing tubing string bands
An oilfield band cutter is useful for removing a band from a tubing string structure as the tubing string structure is being pulled up from the well. The oilfield band cutter includes a base frame with a central hole, an axis extending vertically and centrally through the frame coaxial with the central hole. A tubing follower member is coupled to the base frame and is positioned against an outer surface of the tubing string structure. A cutter is coupled to the tubing follower member, the cutter including an underside having a cutting edge. The cutting edge is positioned to engage against and cut bands on the tubing string structure.

ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPORTING CABLES IN DEPLOYED TUBING
An assembly for supporting one or more cables in coiled tubing deployed in a well is described. The assembly includes a receptacle connected to an upper opening of the coiled tubing. A receptacle clamp is connected to the receptacle to provide a circumferential lateral extension surface. A separate extension column having a base portion is supported on the lateral extension surface. The extension column has an upper platform surface separated vertically from the base portion. A cable clamp is supported on the upper platform surface and configured to reversibly grip the one or more cables. The assembly is useful for any process requiring support of cables in coiled tubing deployed in a well, such as a process for assembling a heater for providing underground heat.
