A transfer apparatus for loading a main conveyor of an implement, for example a seed cart, includes a guide track mounted along the main conveyor, a carriage frame movable along the guide track from a deployed position aligned within an inlet opening of the main conveyor and a retracted position displaced along the main conveyor towards the discharge end from the deployed position, and a transfer conveyor including a discharge end operatively connected to the carriage frame for discharging into the inlet end of the main conveyor in the deployed position. The carriage frame including a swivel formed therein which supports the transfer duct for pivotal movement relative to the guide track about an upright swivel axis and about a lateral tilt axis in the deployed position.

The apparatus incorporates a belt conveyor or circular conveyor within a housing enabling a low-profile configuration, the conveyor having a plurality of cleats forming a series of separate voids for transporting determinable volumes of seed, and a seed treatment applicator adjacent the conveyor outlet for applying seed treatment to the seed. The apparatus and method enables the application of seed treatment based on a mass flow calculation derived from the measured volume flow through the apparatus.

A system to meter multiple agricultural products according to an independently prescribed rate for each in a variable-ratio blend of the agricultural products from a single opener in a plurality of such systems and openers across an applicator such as a drill. Bulk storage compartments associated with the applicator deliver multiple agricultural products to metering assemblies mounted in clusters or pods across the applicator. The agricultural products are fed from the metering assemblies, via a flow re-director, into a manifold, and then into a corresponding single opener having conduits to transport the agricultural product into the soil. Controllers independently regulate metering by the metering assemblies. The flow re-director and manifold provide blending of combinations of the agricultural products for each opener according to a field prescription.

The distribution device has a frame with at least one storage container for material to be distributed mounted thereon and a tool bar having a toolbar center section and toolbar wings pivotally mounted on opposite ends thereof and a plurality of row units mounted on the tool bar center section and each of the toolbar wings. The toolbar wings are pivotable between working and transport positions. In the working position the toolbar wings extend generally in longitudinal alignment with the center section. In the transport position the toolbar wings are pivoted about a pivoting angle of more than 90 and up to 180 with at least a portion of each toolbar wing or any row units attached thereto supported above the at least one storage container.

An exemplary system for filling a holding tank with agricultural product generally includes a supply line. The supply line includes an inlet, a plurality of outlets, and a plurality of junctions. The inlet is connected with a conveyance device such that the supply line is operable to receive a flowing agricultural product blown by the conveyance device. The outlets are open to a holding space of the holding tank, and includes a first outlet and a second outlet. The plurality of junctions includes a first junction associated with the first outlet, and a second junction associated with the second outlet. The first junction is configured to direct agricultural product to flow out of the first outlet until the first outlet becomes blocked, and to thereafter direct agricultural product to flow toward the second junction. The second junction is configured to direct agricultural product to flow out of the second outlet.

BULK TRANSFER DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

An improved bulk transfer system for an agricultural seeder or planter breaks up the central fill system into two stages for supplying a plurality of agricultural products simultaneously to an array of metering pods, each pod containing a plurality of metering assemblies. Firstly, there is a continuous transfer of agricultural product from a trailing product cart to intermediate mini tanks mounted on a central frame and located adjacent the seeding drills and plurality of metering assemblies. The pressurized mini tanks receive agricultural products on demand. Secondly, agricultural products are transferred on demand from the mini tanks to each of the corresponding metering assemblies along the seeding drill. This arrangement enables redistribution of the weight of the bulk of the product farther away from the seeding drills, allowing for greater tow-behind product volumes.

A material-conveying system has a material-conveying apparatus for conveying material, an electronic control unit, a user interface control panel mounted to the apparatus and interfaced with the electronic control unit to receive user input commands to control the apparatus, a power unit mechanically coupled to the apparatus for powering the apparatus, a data bus communicatively connected between the power unit and the control unit, a portable remote control device for wirelessly transmitting command signals for remotely controlling a power output of the power unit to the apparatus, a wireless receiver at the apparatus for receiving the command signals from the portable remote control device and for transmitting the command signals to the electronic control unit that controls the power output of the power unit. The portable remote control device is also configured to wirelessly transmit a control signal to a gate controller of a material-unloading gate of a material container.

An agricultural machine includes a tractor having a front end, a rear end, and a front frame coupled to the front end. The agricultural machine includes an implement coupled to the rear end of the tractor. The agricultural machine includes a supply line configured to transfer commodity from a front tank, which is configured to be supported above the ground by the front frame, to a main tank of the agricultural machine. The main tank distributes commodity to row units, which distribute the commodity to the soil, and the supply line transfers additional commodity to the main tank. The front frame is movable relative to the front end of the tractor to cause engagement of the supply line with the front tank.
