Method of installing fiber liner for large tunnel repair
A method for repairing in-ground tunnel structures including the steps of: a) cleaning the structure to be lined; b) preparing a sheet of composite liner onto a roller; c) applying resin to the wall of the tunnel; d) dispensing said sheet into said resin using said roller and e) bedding the liner composite into the applied resin. The process can then be repeated along the length of the tunnel in a sheet by sheet fashion.
METHOD FOR WATERPROOFING OF TUNNEL STRUCTURES
A method for waterproofing a substrate includes steps of: attaching a separation sheet to the surface of the substrate; and attaching a waterproofing membrane sheet to a surface of the separation sheet by a plurality of adhesive elements having a first and second major adhesive surface, wherein the separation sheet is a non-woven fabric sheet, or an embossed polyolefin membrane sheet and each adhesive element includes an adhesive layer composed of a pressure sensitive adhesive.

The adaptive lining structure of a tunnel in complex environment and the construction method in the disclosure are simple in structure, reasonable in design and convenient for efficient construction; it can deal with engineering problems such as lining cracking caused by high internal water and high external water in the tunnel, and can ensure the safety of tunnel lining in different periods.
Water and/or fire resistant tunnel expansion joint systems
A fire and/or water resistant expansion joint system for installation between substrates of a tunnel. The system includes a fire resistant coating applied at a predetermined thickness to achieve a substantially uniform layer on the substrates and a fire and water resistant expansion joint. The expansion joint includes a core having an edge, wherein the substantially uniform layer of the coating extends along the substrates of the tunnel to the edge of the core, and a fire retardant infused into the core. The core is configured to facilitate the compression of the expansion joint system when installed between the substrates. The coating and the fire and water resistant expansion joint are each capable of withstanding exposure to a temperature of at least about 540° C. or greater for about five minutes.
TUNNEL LINING COMPOSED OF AT LEAST TWO CONCRETE ELEMENTS
The invention relates to a tunnel lining composed of at least two concrete elements (10) each having at least one protective element (20) connected to the concrete element, wherein the protective element (20) has a protective portion which has a first side which faces the concrete element (10) and on which there is provided at least one connecting element (17) for producing a retaining connection between the protective portion and the concrete element (10), wherein the protective portion consists of at least one plastic, wherein the protective element (20) has at least one protective element seal (30) which is connected to the protective portion (20), wherein the connection to the protective portion (20) is gas-tight and liquid-tight, wherein a joint (40) is present between the at least two concrete elements (10) arranged to form the tunnel lining (300), wherein the joint (40) is sealed in a gas-tight and liquid-tight manner with respect to the tunnel interior (100) by at least one protective element seal (30) having a sealing action (first sealing action), and wherein the tunnel lining (300) is provided with drainage (C) into the tunnel interior (100).
Frost-resistant assembled initial support structure of tunnel and construction method thereof
The frost-resistant assembled initial support structure of the tunnel for supporting a surrounding rock includes a bearing layer, an elastic compressible structure and an inflatable airbag. A gap space is formed between the bearing layer and the surrounding rock, and the inflatable airbag and the elastic compressible structure are provided in the gap space; and the inflatable airbag after being inflated and the elastic compressible structure jointly fill up the gap space. A construction method includes providing the bearing layer in the tunnel, and forming the gap space between the bearing layer and the surrounding rock; providing the inflatable airbag and the elastic compressible structure in the gap space; and inflating the inflatable airbag and filling up the gap space with the inflatable airbag and the elastic compressible structure.
Method for blocking mine water inrush
A method for blocking mine water inrush includes: grouting first slurry into an interface between the quaternary aquifer and the weathered bedrock aquifer in a fracture grouting manner until a first preset condition is met; forming a first water-resisting cushion after the first slurry is solidified; drilling a curve branch drill hole in the surface horizon downward; grouting second slurry into the curve branch drill hole in a downward grouting manner until a second preset condition is met; forming a second water-resisting cushion after the second slurry is solidified; grouting third slurry onto a top of the first water-resisting cushion in an upward grouting manner until a third preset condition is met; forming a third water-resisting cushion after the third slurry is solidified; wherein the third water-resisting cushion is located on the top of the first water-resisting cushion.
