Sleeper
The invention is a sleeper having a sleeper body (10), and the sleeper body (10) has a top side (15) and a bottom side opposite the top side (15), and intended rail laying band regions are on the top side (15), and at least two intended seating regions, each being applicable for a respective rail fastening (18), corresponding to and overlapping with each of the intended rail laying band regions. In the sleeper body (10) a through-opening (14) arranged between adjacent intended seating regions corresponding to the same rail laying band region, extending farther in both lateral directions than one or more intended rail laying band regions, encompassed by the sleeper body (10), and interconnecting the top side (15) and the bottom side of the sleeper body (10) is formed in the sleeper body (10).

Formwork for the construction of railway platforms
Formwork (1) for the construction of railway platforms, comprising: a container (2) in which building material to be shaped and subjected to hardening for the construction of a railway platform can be compacted; at least one fixed crossbeam (3) located at the bottom of the container (2); at least one movable crossbeam (4) provided with at least one pair of fastening imprints (5) arranged symmetrically and configured to model the material to form a pair of fastening seats apt to position the rails on the railway platform; placed side by side with the fixed crossbeam (3) and defining therewith an impression surface on which said material can be molded for the construction of said railway platform; said movable crossbeam (4) being rotatable and/or translatable with respect to said fixed crossbeam (3), the configuration being such that different rotations and/or translations correspond to different positions in the container (2) of the fastening imprints (5) and different impression surfaces.

Rail seat crown and concrete rail tie having the same
A concrete rail tie has an elongated tie body made of a first concrete material. The elongated tie body has an elongated top surface having a shaped profile. A preformed rail seat crown made of a second concrete material is embedded in the elongated tie body and disposed at a rail seat location of the elongated tie body. The preformed rail seat crown has top side flush with and shaped to match the shaped profile of the elongated top surface of the elongated tie body. And the second concrete material has a greater compressive strength and a greater flexural strength than the first concrete material.
TRACK
Track and more particularly slabs (1) for a light railway track in which the slab comprises a convex end (2) and a concave end (3) which are generally concentric and reciprocal to each other such that in use the convex end of one slab and engage the concave end of another slab with the respective slabs at an angle to each other. The slabs are secured together to provided straight and curved sections with a modular slab shape and allowing other features for monitoring and/or improved operation.
Track rail fastening system having cantilevered third rail support bracket and direct fixation fastener assembly for same
A track rail fastening system includes a direct fixation fastener assembly having a direct fixation fastener, and a laterally elongated support block. Fastener holes for receiving fastener-clamping fasteners, and fastener holes for receiving bracket-clamping fasteners, are formed in the support block. The respective sets of fastener holes are arranged in different anchor patterns. Fastener-clamping fasteners are received in one of the sets of fastener holes and claim direct fixation fastener to the support block. Bracket-clamping fasteners clamp a third-rail support bracket to the support block, and are received in one of the sets of fastener holes. The third-rail support bracket is cantilevered to the support block.
