Strassenbelagsystem
The present invention relates to a road surfacing system, in particular an asphalt road, which comprises at least one main layer which is at least partially and at least in places permeable to liquids and gases for absorbing compressive and shear forces generated on the main layer by load bodies, for example vehicles, travelling and/or standing on the main layer, wherein the main layer is arranged on a drainage layer through which liquids and/or gases can flow, and further where-in the drainage layer is again arranged on top of a drainage layer which is arranged and intended to at least partially drain liquids from the road surfacing system passing through the main and drainage layers, characterized in that the main layer is substantially free from aggregates and instead is formed with adhering ball elements formed with a plastic and/or a metal.
Void reducing asphalt membrane composition, method and apparatus for asphalt paving applications
A method of sealing pavement joints includes the steps of dispensing a first band of void reducing joint composition on a substrate. Applying a first pass of pavement over at least a portion of the void reducing joint composition. Dispensing a second pass of void reducing joint composition on the substrate. Applying a second pass of pavement of the second band of void reducing joint composition and against an edge of the first pass of pavement.

System and Method For Repairing Damaged Portions of a Concrete Surface
A method of repairing a damaged portion of a roadway comprises cutting around the damaged portion using a circular saw blade to form cut lines that include overcut portions and angled intersections. Using a grinder, or some other tool, a user removes the overcut portions and angled intersections formed by the cut lines to form a smooth and contiguous edge around the damaged portion. The damaged portion is filled a repair material, such as a polymer resin.

ROAD PAVING METHOD
The present invention relates to a road paving method enabling one to provide an asphalt paving material layer in which both excellent stability and stress relaxation can be made compatible with each other, the method including Step 1: a step of mixing asphalt, a thermoplastic elastomer, a polyester, and an aggregate to obtain an asphalt mixture, and Step 2: a step of laying the asphalt mixture obtained in Step 1 on a road, thereby forming an asphalt paving material layer, wherein the polyester has a softening point of 90 C. or higher and 140 C. or lower and a glass transition point of 40 C. or higher and 80 C. or lower, and a ratio of the polyester is more than 17 parts by mass and 50 parts by mass or less based on 100 parts by mass of the asphalt.

VOID REDUCING ASPHALT MEMBRANE COMPOSITION, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASPHALT PAVING APPLICATIONS
A method of forming a pavement construction joint that involves dispensing a band of a void reducing joint composition on a substrate using at least one spray application vehicle, wherein the band comprises a width of about 4 to about 24 inches. A paving pass is applied over the band of joint composition, wherein the paving pass is positioned against an edge of a previously laid portion of pavement to form a pavement construction joint having a volume of air voids. At least a portion of the joint composition migrates upward to reduce the volume of air voids. The composition is resistant to flow when applied and migrates into hot mix asphalt in the area of the longitudinal joint to reduce air voids to 7% or less and reduce water permeability. The composition becomes tack-free quickly after application. The composition bonds to asphalt, concrete, brick, stone and metal.
