LUGGAGE NETS IN THE VEHICLE ROOF OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINES
The present disclosure refers to a road construction machine in the form of a road finisher or a feeder vehicle with a chassis and a driver's cab with a vehicle roof. According to the disclosure, one or more luggage nets are attached to the vehicle roof of the road construction machine.
Paving train
A paving train for producing at least one pavement layer on a traffic surface is formed from at least two independently driven units travelling in a group, such as a road finisher, a road paver, an IP finisher, a feeder, a supply unit or the like. The units move one behind the other at a given distance. In order to enable communication between the units via certain parameters such as speed, material filling level and the like, and in order also to easily control a corresponding distance between the units as well as the corresponding material transfer, a wireless communication link is formed between the units at least for exchanging speeds and/or material filling level.
MATERIAL PLACER AND HIGH VOLUME SUPPLY HOPPER
A material placer having an augmented hopper, which can receive and convey concrete or other material at a greater rate than other material placers known in the industry. The augmented hopper has a relatively large volume, a bumper structure, a hinged flop gate, and a sliding gate plate that improves the process of receiving concrete or other discharged material from delivery trucks. The hinged flop gate and/or the sliding plate can optionally be vibrated to aid in moving concrete or other material into the trough of the augmented hopper. The material placer is further configured to have ease of access for cleaning and maintenance.
ROAD FINISHER OR FEEDER VEHICLE WITH A FIREWALL
A construction vehicle may be a road finisher or a feeder vehicle for a road finisher. The construction vehicle comprises an internal network area of the construction vehicle, which comprises a computing unit for controlling an operation of the construction vehicle, and an external network area of the construction vehicle, which is in data communication connection with the internal network area. A firewall is configured to monitor data communication from the external network area of the construction vehicle to the internal network area of the construction vehicle, wherein the firewall has its own processor and operating system.
Road finishing machine or charger vehicle with pushing means for a material transfer process
A road-making machine is provided in the form of a road-finishing machine for producing a paving layer from a laying material or a charger vehicle for supplying the road-finishing machine with a laying material. The road-making machine comprises a material bunker, and a pushing means fixed forward of the material bunker at a chassis, such that pushing rollers of the pushing means may dock to rear tires of a truck. The pushing rollers comprise a pair of first pushing rollers mountable in a first position in a seat of a traverse of the pushing means. Either the pushing means is expandable by at least one changeable attachment to which the first pushing rollers may be mounted in a second position further forward with respect to the first position, or the pushing means comprises a pair of second pushing rollers which may be selectively positioned forward of the first pushing rollers.

WORKING COMBINATION ENCOMPASSING AN EARTH WORKING MACHINE AND A FURTHER VEHICLE, AND AN AUTOMATIC SPACING MONITORING SYSTEM
A working combination (10) having self-propelled first (12) and further vehicles (14) that are embodied to move one behind another with a setpoint spacing (D) in a working direction (A); the working combination (10) having a spacing monitoring device (26) that outputs a spacing signal on the basis of a detection state of the spacing monitoring device (26) which depends on the actual spacing (D) of the vehicles (12, 14), and that comprises a beam source (28) and a sensor arrangement (30) detecting the radiation (32) of the beam source (28); one vehicle (12), constituting a source vehicle (12), carrying the beam source (18); the beam source (28) radiating, toward the respective other vehicle (14) constituting a target vehicle (14), an electromagnetic radiation (32) directed in such a way that the radiation (32) is present only in a beam space (40) that extends over a first angular region (43) around a first beam space axis (42) and over a second angular region (46) around a second beam space axis (44) and that is inclined around the first beam space axis (42) with reference to the working direction (A).
Provision is made according to the present invention that the sensor arrangement (30) extends along a sensor axis (36) and is arranged on the target vehicle (14); a reference detection region (34) on the sensor arrangement (30) being irradiated by the beam source (28); and the sensor axis (36) being arranged with an inclination around an inclination axis (54) parallel to the first beam space axis (42) so that a change in the vehicle spacing (D) results in a change in the position of the detection region (34) and thus in a change in the detection state of the sensor arrangement (30).
Asphalt paver with remixer
A wheeled asphalt paver vehicle provides a combination of a remixing hopper and a paving screed in a single vehicle. An optional loading conveyor carried by the vehicle facilitates loading of asphalt mix or other paving material into the hopper. A mixer within a lower portion of the hopper keeps the asphalt materials mixed therein. An output conveyor draws asphalt material from the hopper and into a screed for laying onto a surface over which the vehicle is traveling. An optional flow diverter between the output conveyor and the screed is adjustable to provide a greater proportion of the asphalt material to a left side or a right side of the screed. The vehicle can conveniently be controlled by fewer operators than when a separate paver vehicle and a separate remixer vehicle are utilized.
Material placer
A material placer includes conveyors on a frame for receiving material from a side dump trailer and conveying the material to a placing location. The conveyors can include a receiving conveyor for receiving material from the side dump trailer through an opening in a side of the placer, a funneling auger for funneling the material so it flows along a narrow flow path, a transfer conveyor for lifting the material after it is dumped from the side dump trailer, and/or a placing conveyor for placing the material at the placing location. The placing conveyor can be movable between a stowed position and a conveying position. A drive system for the conveyor may be located within a conveyor pulley to reduce the envelope of the material placer.
