Marking tape, method of applying and method of manufacturing the marking tape
A marking tape for application on pavement which comprises a core layer and an adhesive layer outside the core layer. The core layer is formed of a combination of a conforming layer of a thermoplastic material, a marking layer of a cross-linked material, and a fibrous layer. The conforming layer and the marking layer are contiguous and/or directly interconnected with each other.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A ROAD MARKING AND A ROAD MARKING
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a road marking (2). The method comprises the steps of: placing a mesh (1) and road marking pieces (10), one on top of the other, provide heat to the road marking pieces (10) in an area where the mesh (1) is placed, and forcing the mesh (1) and the road marking pieces (10) against each other to at least partially integrate the mesh (1) in the road marking pieces (10).
A road marking (2) manufactured according to this method is also disclosed.
ANTI-SKID SURFACE
A device to slow down and/or stop means of transport on pavement, in particular a road pavement. The device includes a series of lamellar elements substantially parallel to each other, and provided with upper edges protruding from the upper part of the pavement, or substantially flush with the pavement.

SYSTEM FOR AIR AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Disclosed is a system for horizontal marking of air and ground transportation. The system comprises at least one sheet of a pliant mesh material that is preferably at least 30% open when in use and preferably has a ground footprint weight of at least 0.4 kg/m.sup.2. The marking system is adapted to be disposed on an horizontal surface in a generally horizontal fashion, so as to provide a sign for conveying information to air and/or ground traffic. Also disclosed is a method of directing air or ground traffic using such a horizontal marking system.
Pelletized road marking binders and related methods
A composition for use as a binder system for road marking formulations and methods for making thereof is disclosed. The binder system is provided as pellets. The method provides for making the pelletized binder system, and mixing the pelletized binder system with fillers and other components, heating the mixed ingredients forming into a molten mixture for applying on a road surface. The pelletized binder system comprises at least a resin and an elastomer in one embodiment; at least a resin and a plasticizer in a second embodiment; and at least a resin, an elastomer, and a plasticizer in a third embodiment.
