A socket mounted post system including a post with a hollow base portion attached to a spring mechanism. The spring mechanism includes a pillar, the pillar having a finger extending from the hollow base portion. The finger is engageable with a socket that is mountable in a floor. The spring mechanism allows the post to flex angularly relative to a vertical orientation of the post.

A portable barricade includes a road plate, first and second support posts extending upward from end portions of the road plate, a barricade arm extending between the first and second support posts, and a lift coupled one of the end portions of the barricade arm and a corresponding one of the first and second support posts. Actuation of the lift is configured to slide the barricade arm relative to the first and second support members between a retracted position proximate to the road plate and a deployed position distal from the road plate.

A portable barricade includes a road plate, first and second support posts extending upward from end portions of the road plate, a barricade arm extending between the first and second support posts, and a lift coupled one of the end portions of the barricade arm and a corresponding one of the first and second support posts. Actuation of the lift is configured to slide the barricade arm relative to the first and second support members between a retracted position proximate to the road plate and a deployed position distal from the road plate.

A barrier apparatus provides a portable perimeter barrier between people, animals, property or equipment and incoming potential hazards. The apparatus functions as a security or safety device which may be operated by one person in multiple conditions, and may be hand operable or motor-driven. The apparatus is capable of providing alternative electric power distribution and lighting. The apparatus comprises a housing, retractable barrier material, and a mechanical system. The apparatus may include lights, an alarm, and a motion detector. The apparatus may be used with or without a vehicle, and may be carried by a vehicle tow hitch. The apparatus is easily operable by extending the rolls of barrier material from the housing. The apparatus may provide a barrier covering a distance of up to about 170 feet across a road or any area to quickly block or direct the flow of traffic or to establish a perimeter.

The present subject matter provides a gate for controlling passage of vehicles including: at least one first blocking element configured to swivel about a first pivot axis; and at least one second blocking element configured to swivel about a second pivot axis, wherein the first blocking element and the second blocking element are configured to swivel one opposite the other in a manner that a gap is formed between the first blocking element and the second blocking element, wherein the gap is set to allow or block passage of vehicles through the gap. Additional embodiments of the gate are disclosed herein.

A retractable stanchion barrier system with a flexible RGB display matrix utilizes one or more stanchion units, each stanchion unit comprising a stanchion head, a weighted base, a stanchion post, and a flexible LED stanchion ribbon display which extends from each stanchion head. A computer system governs the operation of the flexible RGB display. The flexible LED stanchion ribbon display may extend from one stanchion head and connect to another stanchion head. The stanchion heads may mount to walls, doors or stanchion posts. Such a system may be configured to be ultra-portable or implemented as a fixture.

A stanchion with enhanced stability and user safety is provided. The stanchion includes a base having a top surface, a bottom surface and a central opening extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, the central opening in the base having an inner surface with a locking protrusion coupled thereto, and an elongated body with a bottom end rotatably mounted to the central opening of the base and having a pair of tabs. The elongated body is designed to rotate to a first position to permit one of the pair of tabs to engage with the locking protrusion on the base, thereby locking the elongated body to the base. The elongated body is designed to rotate to a second position with the pair of tabs disengaged from the locking protrusion on the base, thereby unlocking the elongated body from the base.

An emergency release barrier system that includes a post having at least one retainer; and a barrier tape having a cooperatively shaped attaching part formed at an outer end of the tape. The retainer is open at an upper end, has a first vertical retaining wall at a first side, a second vertical retaining wall at a second side, and a vertically extending opening formed between the first retaining wall and the second retaining wall, such that a vertically extending retaining volume is formed between an inner wall of the retainer, the first retaining wall and the second retaining wall, and a width of the retaining volume is greater than a width of the opening. The attaching part of the barrier tape is cooperatively formed to be removably mounted in and retained in the retaining volume of the retainer.

The present invention discloses a fence system, which is composed of a plurality of assembly units that are detachably connected in sequence. Each assembly unit includes a base, a fixed assembly, a winding apparatus, an outer bar body and a net body. The winding apparatus is fixed on the top of the base, located in the outer bar body and used to drive the outer bar body to rotate around the base, so that the net body is wound on the outer side of the outer bar body. The fixed assembly is retracted into the base or unfolded and fixed on the bottom of the base. The present invention realizes convenience in disassembling and assembling, realizes the automatic winding of the net body, thereby facilitating the transfer and reuse of the assembly units; and enhances the stability of the assembly units and the overall structure and achieving good practicability.
