Expedient barrier apparatus
A vehicle barrier apparatus includes a horizontal barrier component, a vertical barrier component, at least one rigid stabilizer beam having two end surfaces and at least one elongated side surface. One end of the stabilizer beam is affixed to the vertical barrier component. The elongated side surface of the stabilizer beam is affixed to the horizontal barrier component to prevent rotational movement of the vertical barrier component. A lower surface of the horizontal barrier component is a friction-enhanced surface which creates a sliding friction interface upon contact of a moving vehicle with the vertical barrier component.

FINGER WEDGE VEHICLE BARRIER
A finger wedge barrier system includes a frame having a top side and a bottom side, a laterally extending beam trough located along a front wall, and laterally spaced apart finger troughs extending axially from a rear wall to the beam trough, each of the finger troughs is open at the top side of the frame and formed between a cooperative pair of rails; a first cavity formed between a first pair of the laterally spaced apart finger troughs, the first cavity open at the top side and the bottom side; a second cavity formed between a second pair of the laterally spaced apart finger troughs, the second cavity open at the top side and the bottom side; and a finger wedge barrier having fingers aligned with the finger troughs, each of the fingers having a top surface, a bottom surface, a rear end pivotally connected to the frame, and a blocking member extending perpendicular to the fingers and connected at front ends of each of the fingers.
SELF-DEPLOYING VEHICLE INTRUSION BARRIER
A vehicle barrier apparatus includes a base and a deployable element. The deployable element is rotatably coupled to the base, enabling transition from a stored orientation to a deployed orientation. The deployable element can engage a vehicle physically in the deployed orientation to impair vehicle motion. An actuating mechanism is mechanically coupled to the deployable element cause the deployable element to move from the stored orientation to the deployed orientation responsive to a trigger. The apparatus may include a triggering device that detects the vehicle and provides the trigger to the actuating mechanism responsive to the detection. In addition, or alternatively, the apparatus can include a communications interface that receives a trigger communication from a remote location and causes the trigger to be provided to the actuating mechanism. The apparatus may be portable.
WEDGE VEHICLE BARRIER
A wedge barrier system includes a frame to be disposed within a foundation, a wedge barrier having fingers with an asset end pivotally connected to the frame at an asset side and a blocking member extending perpendicular to the fingers and connected at threat ends of each of the fingers and a drive actuator to move the wedge barrier between a non-deployed position with the wedge barrier disposed inside the frame and a deployed position with the blocking member located above the top side.

Apparatus and method for rapidly deflating tires to disable a land vehicle
An apparatus and a method for disabling a ground engaging traction device of a land vehicle includes at least one penetrator configured to breach the traction device, an articulated strap configured to move the apparatus between a retracted arrangement and an extended arrangement, a mass configured to deploy the apparatus to the extended arrangement, and a retractor configured to retract the apparatus to the retracted arrangement. The penetrators can be arranged in sections and the penetrators can be arranged so as to be multi-directional within each section.
Portable net barrier system
A barrier system including an elastic net coupled to a cable, an energy absorption member coupled between the cable and an anchoring assembly, and an actuation assembly coupled to the net and configured to rotate the net about an axis of rotation between a closed position restricting vehicle access through the barrier system, and an open position allowing vehicle access through the barrier system.
