Cable barrier system for use with cable barrier management system including turnbuckle subsystem, and method
A cable barrier system is managed by a cable barrier management system including a management system controller having a management processor, a wireless data communications interface, and a plurality of turnbuckle subsystems configured to be joined to respective barrier cables to provide pretension. Each of the turnbuckle subsystems has a strain gauge mounting zone and is configured to enable communication of strain from a strain gauge circuit to the management processor. The management system controller includes a sensing circuit to receive the strain gauge output voltage from the strain gauge circuit and provide sensing circuit output to the management processor. The management system controller includes a cable barrier analysis module configured to determine excess strain events. The management processor generates strain event data, which is sent via the wireless data communications interface to a remote recipient computing device.
Barrier cable anchor
A barrier cable anchor may include an anchor body including an inner surface, a retainer having a retainer body and the retainer body being retained to the anchor body, a collar having an outer surface and an inner surface and being at least partially within the anchor body, one or more wedges positioned within the tapered inner surface of the collar, and a nut engaging the collar and retained to the anchor body. The retainer may include a pin end retained to the inner surface of the anchor body and the nut may include a threaded outer surface so that rotating the nut within the anchor body advances the retaining collar and thereby tensions the barrier cable.

Temporary barrier system
A temporary barrier system that is configured to be placed adjacent a concrete divider on a roadway wherein the temporary barrier system provides an increased vertical barrier so as to inhibit seeing therepast. The temporary barrier system includes a storage container having the body of the present invention stored in its first position therein. The body of the present invention is planar in manner and stored in a rolled position in the storage container. The body is wrapped around a winding apparatus and includes an end that is configured to be secured to a deployment vehicle. The deployment vehicle traverses away from the storage container to deploy the body to its second position. The body further includes a plurality of support members being configured to be perpendicular to the upper and lower edge. The storage container is configured as a towable trailer.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS FOR CABLE BARRIER
A cable barrier assembly or system can include line posts extending along a barrier section. Cables can extend along the line posts. In addition, each line post can have a total number of cable retention features that is less than a total number of the cables. Each cable retention feature can include at least a partial loop that limits a range of radial motion of a cable extending through an eye of the partial loop, relative to an axis of the cable.

Cable barrier
A barrier is formed from one or more intermediate posts situated between a pair of end posts. Long flexible cables interconnect the end posts and extend adjacent each intermediate post. Each cable is wrapped one or more times around each post. End posts may include dual columns that permit cable windings around both columns. A spike embedded within the end of each cable enhances the purchase that can be gained by a clamp that presses the cable against the end post. The clamp has contact elements with converging side walls that grip the cable near the spike. To maintain the spike in place, a wire rope clip grips the cable over a constriction in its contained spike. Each cable is enclosed by a cable cover extending between adjacent posts. The cable cover is suspended at each post by a pair of tiltable hangers.
