Method and System for Adaptive Control Of An Industrial Vehicle During A Road Surface Treatment Operation
20220325487 · 2022-10-13 ·

A method for controlling an industrial vehicle comprising the steps of: detecting a physical feature that determines a local narrowing or a widening of said road route; calculating treatment parameters of the road surface adapted to be used in the presence of said physical feature; calculating an estimated time for reaching said physical feature; calculating a time interval value required for a complete implementation of the second treatment parameters; and starting the implementation of the second treatment parameters at a time that is equal to the estimated time excluding the time interval of complete implementation.

SNOW PLOW AND MOUNT ASSEMBLY

A snow plow and mount frame assembly permits an operator to attach a snow plow to a mount frame secured to a vehicle, without the operator exiting a cab of the vehicle. The assembly comprises first and second connectors on the mount frame and the snow plow, respectively, that connect during mating of the mount frame with the snow plow as the vehicle is driven toward the snow plow, to provide power to the snow plow from an electrical system of the vehicle, a first actuator powered by the vehicle electrical system to pivot a lift frame of the snow plow upwardly relative to an A-frame of the snow plow to align holes in the lift frame with holes in the mount frame, a second actuator powered by the vehicle electrical system to extend latch pins through the lift frame and mount frame holes to a latched position, a first sensor powered by the vehicle electrical system to determine that the lift frame and mount frame holes are aligned, a second sensor powered by the vehicle electrical system to determine that the second actuator is fully extended, and a controller that receives signals from the first and second sensors and sends signals to the first and second actuators in response to the signals received from the first and second sensors.

Snowplow blades and cutting edge systems for snowplow blades are described herein. The cutting edge systems include a backing plate coupled to a bottom portion of a moldboard of the snowplow blade and a plurality of cutting edge segments each configured to be slidably mounted to the front surface of the backing plate. The backing plate has, for each of the blade segments, a central opening, a first slot positioned on a first side of the central opening and a second slot positioned on a second side of the central opening. Each cutting edge segment includes a blade segment, a compression member and a retainer plate.

Adjustable snowplow

An adjustable snowplow is provided, the adjustable snowplow including a center blade and first and second wing blades each positioned on opposite ends of the center blade. A channel is provided along a back and length of the center blade. First and second wing bars are provided, attached to respective backs of the first and second wing blades, and configured to be slidably received within the channel for reciprocal movement. In this manner, the blades are moved inwardly toward or outwardly away from the center blade, thereby adjusting an overall width of the snowplow. The channel includes a cross-sectional shape defined by a plurality of surfaces. One or more gaps are respectively formed in one or more of the plurality of surfaces, to permit snow and water that would otherwise be trapped to fall and/or flow away from the adjustable snowplow.

A snow plow having a wing that is rotatably coupled to a side of a primary plow, and configured to rotate about a first axis substantially parallel to the side of the primary plow. A portion of the wing is operable to rotate about a second axis that is non-parallel to the first axis, where the portion is operable to rotate upward about the second axis relative to the ground in response to the wing encountering an obstruction. A snow plow having a receiver coupled to a surface of the primary plow and an actuator coupled to the receiver. The receiver allows the snow plow to move proximally and distally with respect to a vehicle.

Snowbank deconstructing system

An autonomous snowbank deconstructing system includes an autonomous vehicle, one or more boom arms coupled to the autonomous vehicle, and a dulled shovel component coupled to the one or more boom arms. The autonomous vehicle is configured to autonomously gather loose debris to form one or more debris piles with repetitive, low-impact contact of the dulled shovel component with the loose debris, and autonomously deconstruct accumulated debris with repetitive, low-impact contact of the dulled shovel component with the accumulated debris.

Belly blade mounted to center of mower equipment

The present disclosure relates to improvements in snow removal vehicles. A vehicle is disclosed, wherein the vehicle may have a reduced turning radius, or a zero-turn radius. The present disclosure also relates to improvements in snow shovels attached to the vehicle, including disclosure directed to a snow shovel mounted to the middle of the vehicle, rather than to the vehicle's front. Further yet, the present application discloses a snow shovel which is interchangeable with a mower attachment, thereby allowing a vehicle to be used as a snow plow or as a mower.
