A hand operated snow removal apparatus delivers heated air from a heated air blower through a first air delivery tube and a second air delivery tube to a bifurcated discharge head. The discharge head includes a manifold connected to the second air delivery tube; a left delivery pipe connected to the manifold; a left delivery pipe connected to the manifold; a left delivery pipe connected to the manifold; and a right delivery pipe connected to the manifold. A left nozzle at a forward end of the left delivery pipe, and a right nozzle at a forward end of the right delivery pipe, deliver separate streams of heated air to melt snow.

System and method of snow and ice removal

A system for removing snow and ice is provided. The system has a light head mounted to rotate. A light source is mounted in the light head and radiates visible light. An optical train is mounted in the light head adjacent the light source to focus the visible light to a concentrated light beam line that is directionally focused. A controller is in communication with the light head and is programmed to rotate the light head thereby sweeping the concentrated light beam along a surface.

Systems and methods for deicing

A deicing method includes the steps of determining a necessary quantity of heat to substantially vaporize an interfacial layer between a solid surface and a layer of ice and applying pulsed heating at the interfacial layer. The pulsed heating is applied with the determined necessary quantity of heat to substantially vaporize the interfacial layer.

APPARATUS FOR REMOVING SNOW THROUGH LIQUEFACTION

The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing snow through liquefaction, and the objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for removing snow through liquefaction that can melt snow suctioned by a snow suction means into water, thereby enhancing energy efficiency. The apparatus comprises: a snow suction means that includes a stirring part that forcibly crushes and stirs external snow and a suction part that forcibly suctions the snow that is stirred in the stirring part; a water spray means that sprays water into the suction part to melt the snow suctioned by the snow suction means; a storage part that stores the water into which the snow is melted by the water spray means; and a heating means that is located below the storage part and applies heat to the water stored in the storage part, wherein the heated water in the storage part is pumped and supplied to the water spray means.

A heated air blower device for thawing a frozen surface includes an air blower which includes a motor and an exhaust manifold each mounted on a backpack that can be worn on a user's back. The motor drives the air blower to urge air outwardly through the exhaust manifold when the motor is turned on and an air nozzle is fluidly attached to the exhaust manifold for receiving the air blown by the air blower. A heating unit is integrated into the air nozzle to heat the air when the heating unit is turned on. In this way the heating unit facilitates the heated air to be directed onto a frozen surface for thawing the frozen surface. Additionally, a solar panel is disposed on the air blower for powering the heating unit.

SYSTEM FOR DEICING BLACK ICE ON ROAD SURFACE USING INVISIBLE LIGHT BASED ON AI
