Inclined plates for CSO

This device serves to improve water quality under gravity flow conditions. The water quality treatment device traps floating debris with replaceable netting, it contains oil spills and settles sediment in self-cleaning settling cells above a collection bunker inside a chamber. The device directs the water below the inclined cells, through the inclined cells, or over the inclined cells, depending on the inflow intensity. All inflowing water enters the net cavity and the net is supported by the inclined cell assembly. The pollutant collection surfaces are overlapping each other and aligned with the water flow direction. A hinged baffle with orifices controls the flow rate through the inclined cells. The netting is replaceable when filled with debris through an access opening in the ceiling of the chamber. The sediment bunker is cleaned through access openings in the ceiling from the chamber inflow side and the exit side.

Closure for locking a covering

Coverings for structures which can be installed in the ground are known. In order to lock the covering on the structure, closures are known which comprise a snap bolt which is designed in such a way and is mounted movably on the covering (20) against the force of a spring device in such a way that, during closing of the covering (20), the snap bolt is forced back and snaps in behind a counterbearing (14, 14) fixed to the structure in a closure position. To simplify the arrangement and also to improve durability, it is proposed that the snap bolt is mounted in a housing (40) which can be fastened in a housing receptacle of the covering (20).

Cable screen for fish protection purposes

A separating grid includes a separating unit arranged, when in use, in a position of inclination obliquely upwards in the direction of flow of running water, fixed grid bars, movable grid bars, and a drive unit connected to the movable grid bars to actuate the movable grid bars to interact with the solid particles and to draw the solid particles out of the running water and to carry the solid particles upwards along the fixed grid bars. A position detection device detects the top position or the bottom position of the movable grid bars. A water level detection device detects the water level of the running water. A control device controls the drive unit according to information from the position detection device regarding the position of the movable grid bars and information from the water level detection device regarding the water level.

System for cleaning rivers and waterways in general
20250270779 · 2025-08-28 ·

A system for cleaning rivers and waterways in general includes a plurality of floating or non-floating modules configured to rotate at least due to the effect of the thrusting action exerted by the water, and constraining elements configured to constrain two or more of the modules to be substantially aligned with one another along at least one main direction. The constraining elements are configured to ensure that a minimum clearance is provided between each module and an adjacent module, so that the modules do not come in contact with each other during their normal operation, and so that each module, due to its own rotation, pushes waste toward an adjacent module.

Portable, reusable, high-stability, clog-resistant, universal-application, adjustable-volume non-filtration flow regulation device and system for sedimentation control related applications
12584282 · 2026-03-24 ·

An erosion prevention and sedimentation control flow-regulation device and system is provided for all customary applications addressed by conventional filtration devices such as check-dams (ditch check, channel or culvert), inlets (curb and ground), slope (hillside), perimeter control and settling and other ponds. The flow-regulation device and system is comprised of two components: (1) a heavy, irregular-shaped, hard-wearing, non-filtering, high-porosity fill media encapsulated in a heavy-duty, high-tensile mesh (the high-porosity particle mix component), and (2) an optional sheet-like synthetic geotextile material with limited permeability (the low-permeability choker component). The high-porosity particle mix component allows much larger flows of water through the device and system. The low-permeability choker component constricts or chokes the flow of water into the high-porosity particle mix component.
