A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A MOTION COMPENSATED PILE GUIDE FOR A FLOATING VESSEL, AND A VESSEL
A system for controlling a motion compensated pile guide for a floating vessel comprises a pile guide for guiding a monopile in its longitudinal direction during driving the monopile into a seabed, an actuator for moving the pile guide in horizontal direction with respect to a vessel to which the pile guide is mounted, a control unit for controlling the actuator, which control unit is configured for compensating motion of the vessel to which the pile guide is mounted so as to maintain the horizontal position of the pile guide during driving a monopile into a seabed, a first sensor for determining an inclination angle of a monopile with respect to the vertical during driving the monopile into a seabed, and a second sensor for determining magnitude and direction of an actual force of a monopile onto the pile guide during driving the monopile into a seabed. The control unit is configured to determine a desired force of the pile guide onto the monopile for minimizing the inclination angle when determined by the first sensor, and to control the actuator for moving the pile guide opposite to the direction of the actual force when the desired force is larger than the actual force and in the same direction as the actual force when the actual force is larger than the desired force.
Floating platform
A floating platform is attached to another object. The object may be fixed to the earth or it may be a floating object such as a floating dock or a vessel. The floating platform is held in horizontal position relative to the object to which it is attached, but vertical movement of the floating platform relative to the object is permitted. The object is connected to the floating platform by devices that have blades extending from. Each blade slidably engages a bracket, with the slidable blade permitting horizontal adjustment of the distance of the floating platform from the object during installation of the floating platform. Guide posts or piles slidably engage pile guides mounted to the object, permitting the floating platform to move vertically relative to the object, but fixing the floating platform's horizontal position relative to the object.
PACKER ELEMENT
There is disclosed a packer and/or gripper element (10), beneficially for use offshore and/or underwater, the packer and/or gripper (10) comprising an inflatable element or cushion (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d), wherein a periphery of the/each inflatable element or cushion (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) comprises at least one corner, the at least one corner comprising a concave portion (30a, 30b, 30c, 30d). The disclosed packer and/or gripper element (10) comprises a plurality of inflatable elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d), each inflatable element (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) being communicably coupled to an adjacent inflatable element (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d) by a port (155a, 155b) disposed between the inflatable elements (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d).
STABILIZER FOR FLOATING CONSTRUCT
A boat lift is attached to piles driven into the earth or to another object. The boat lift is held in horizontal position relative to piles or the object to which it is attached, but vertical movement of the boat lift relative to the object is permitted. The boat lift is connected to the piles by modular units or cube constructs that have a post extending there through. The post has a blade extending from it. The blades are attached at an angle, according to the application, to pile guides that engage piles. The pile guides vertically traverse the piles, permitting the boat lift to move vertically relative to the object, but fixing the horizontal position of the boat lift.

Frac stand safety work platform
An elevated workspace platform for rapid installation over and around wellhead equipment, frac trees and manifolds for providing oilfield worker access to equipment. Lift points provide engagement with forklift or other lifting machinery for deployment onsite and do not require any personnel to be underneath. Foldable support legs are securely locked into upright configuration with a hand operated spring-loaded latch. Reinforced steel plate boxes surround and achor the support legs to the elevated platform. Modularized design allows the platform to be stackable for transport to the oilfield work site. Removable and adjustable height stairways, handrails and self-closing gates ensure worker safety and access to equipment. Leveling jacks compensate for uneven ground surface conditions. Safety features reduced slips and falls and decrease insurance costs. Rigid structure provides workspace for installation, operation and servicing wellhead equipment, valves, fittings, pipelines, lubrication, and high-pressure hydraulic fracturing fluid lines and hoses.
