SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A BUILDING STRUCTURE
A support assembly for supporting a building structure, the building structure having a support frame including at least one support beam, the support assembly comprising: a pile adapted to be buried into a ground surface, the pile having a longitudinal axis; a pile head adapted to be secured to a top end of a pile, the pile head including a mounting member engaging the pile and an extendable member movably mounted to the mounting member, the extendable member being movable relative to the mounting member, along the longitudinal axis, the extendable member including: a support platform adapted to receive the support beam of the mobile home's support frame thereon; and at least one holding member adapted to engage the support beam and prevent movement of the support beam relative to the support platform.
Method and Apparatus for Improved Installation of Caissons
A caisson is modified to include side tabs thin can be gripped by side-mounted clamps on a vibratory hammer so that the caisson may be lifted into position from a horizontal position, oriented vertically, and driven into the ground without readjustment of the clamping of the vibratory hammer. An end cap installed permanently at the top of the caisson may provide an additional flange for receiving a lower clamp of the vibratory hammer to complete installation of the caisson, driving the caisson further into the earth until the tabs arc buried in the ground. The flange may be sized to fit within a tower portion attached to the caisson eliminating the need for a replaceable flange system.
WIND POWER PLANT FOUNDATION AND WIND POWER PLANT
A wind power installation foundation having a cylindrical central unit, a plurality of steel carriers which are arranged radially around the central unit and which respectively have a first and a second end, and a plurality of foundation piles. The first ends of the steel carriers are fixed to the central unit so that the second ends of the steel carriers are in the form of free ends. The second free ends of the steel carriers are respectively placed on one of the foundation piles.
PILE, PILE HEAD AND CONNECTOR THEREFOR
A pile head for a screw pile having a top end and a longitudinal axis is provided. The pile head comprises a mounting portion engaging the pile and an extendable portion movably mounted to the mounting portion. The extendable portion is movable relative to the mounting portion, along the longitudinal axis. A first fastening means is used to removably fasten the mounting portion of the pile head to the top end of the pile and preventing unwanted movement of the pile head relative to the pile, along the longitudinal axis. A screw pile, a removable helical member and a body extension for a screw pile are also provided.
Open End Friction Pile
The open end friction pile comprises of four steel plates, four brackets, and one driving head. The steel plates have a first bend line and a second bend line that are equidistant from a distal end. The first bend line and second bend line of the steel plates are equidistant from each other creating a center portion. The brackets have a first bend line and a second bend line that are equidistant from a distal end. The first bend line and second bend line of the brackets are equidistant from each other creating a center portion. The bracket has a third bend line along the center portion. One bracket is connected to one steel plate along the distal ends and center portion. All four steel plates and four brackets concurrently connect along the distal ends to form two open-ends. A driving head is connected covering the top open-end.
Assembly for mooring a pile with a mooring line and method implemented with said assembly
Assembly for mooring a pile with a mooring line. The assembly according to one implementation has a frame disposed on the pile that is configured to support a connecting end of a chain, the other end of the chain being connected to the pile. The assembly having an attachment assembly having an attachment element connected at one end of the mooring line. A coupler coupled to the attachment element allows positioning the attachment element with respect to the connecting end of the chain. The coupler includes a guide for positioning the attachment element on the frame. A fixing assembly is provided allowing the interconnection of the attachment element and the connecting end of the chain.
Pile cap connectors
Pile cap connectors are attached to pipe piles and are secured to an existing building so that the existing building is supported by an array of the deeply driven pipe piles which serve as the foundation for the building. Alternative pile cap connectors are length adjustable to span the distance between the top of the drill driven pipe piles and the underside of the lifted existing building. The pile cap connectors are an integral part of a method using low-overhead equipment to construct a deep piling foundation for an existing building where the method involves lifting the existing building to a predetermined elevation above grade and positioning cribbing stacks to support the existing building at the predetermined elevation above grade. The cribbing stacks are spaced from each other enabling low-overhead equipment to maneuver underneath the elevated building to drill drive the pipe piles at designated locations to provide optimal support for the building. Grout is pumped under pressure into the pipe piles continuously during the drill driving of the pipe piles so that grout exits through a grout port to mix with disturbed soil about the pipe pile to encase the pipe pile in a grout-soil mixture.
FOUNDATION PILE
A foundation pile 1 is disclosed. The foundation pile 1 includes a central axis member 10 that extends vertically in the up-down direction; a base plate 11 formed on the upper end of the central axis member 10 to fix the upper structure 2 at the upper end; and a circumferential member 20 provided on the upper side circumference of the central axis member 10 to reinforce the upper side circumference of the central axis member 10, wherein the upper surface of the circumferential member 20 is formed so as to come into contact with the lower surface of the base plate 11 without any gap.
Apparatus for ending a tubular pile foundation
An apparatus for ending a tubular pile foundation includes a substantially plate-shaped pressure distribution plate which comprises a substantially flat plate surface and a contact surface opposite the plate surface for a structure to be erected on the tubular pile foundation. The pressure distribution plate can be fitted with the plate surface onto a pile end of a tubular pile of the tubular pile foundation. At least one centering collar for centering the apparatus on the pile end is arranged on the plate surface, and at least one support structure for reinforcing the pressure distribution plate is arranged on the contact surface.
