Cement form apparatus and method
A cement form includes a first surface arranged vertically and configured to support a volume of cement, a second surface arranged horizontally and configured to contact a ground support surface. The cement form includes a foam material and has a wedge cross-sectional shape.
Cement form with brick ledge
A cement form can be made of foam and include a brick ledge portion that forms a brick ledge in a cement foundation. In some embodiments, the cement form includes a ground facing surface extending horizontally and configured to contact a ground surface and a cement facing surface extending vertically and configured to contact and support a volume of cement used to create the cement foundation. The cement facing surface can include two vertical surfaces offset horizontally from each other and configured to form a brick ledge in the cement foundation. The cement form can be a single unitary component having an elongated shape and a solid, continuous construction. The foam material can form at least a portion of the cement facing surface.
ANCHOR SUPPORT MEMBER
An anchor support member supports an anchor bolt provided to the foundation of a building, and comprises: an attaching part that is attached to a formwork of the foundation; a retaining part that is connected to the attaching part and retains the anchor bolt; and a securing part that secures the attaching part to the formwork. The securing part secures the attaching part to the formwork such that the position of the anchor support member can be adjusted in a prescribed direction.
CEMENT FORM WITH EXTENSION
A cement form assembly includes cement and a cement form. The cement form can include a ground facing surface extending horizontally on a ground support surface and a cement facing surface extending vertically and contacting the cement. An extension member extends outward from the cement form and includes a surface that extends the ground facing surface or the cement facing surface. The cement form and the extension member are each made, at least partially, of a foam material.
MODULE FOR A STRUCTURE
A construction module for a structure, comprising: a formwork member that includes a base, a pair of parallel side walls that extend upwardly from the base, and a pair of parallel end walls. The base, the side walls and the end walls define a cavity for reinforcement and concrete. A reinforcement member includes an upper portion and a lower portion. When the reinforcement member is located in the cavity and concrete fills the cavity, the lower portion of the reinforcement member and the concrete define an elongate beam.

When the reinforcement member is located in the cavity and concrete fills the cavity, the lower portion of the reinforcement member and the concrete define an elongate beam.
FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION METHOD AND ANCHOR SUPPORT
This foundation construction method for a building includes: a first step for creating a foundation base; a second step for installing reinforcement on the foundation base; a third step for installing a frame for creating a foundation to be provided to the foundation base; a fourth step for arranging a plurality of anchors so as to follow the inner periphery of the frame; and a fifth step for placing concrete inside the frame. In the fifth step, the concrete is leveled such that the upper surface of the concrete is the same height as the upper end surface of the frame.
Frost Protected Foundation System and Method of Using
A shallow foundation form and method of using are provided. The form is useful for pouring concrete slab foundations and results in a frost protected foundation with improved thermal characteristics. The form may include brackets to hold rebar at various locations. The brackets are designed to avoid the use of fastening devices, such as wire ties. When used to pour a concrete foundation, the form and brackets reduce construction material input costs, reduce the amount of skilled labor required, and reduce the amount of time required to pour a foundation.
FOUNDATION FORM, DRAINAGE AND VENTILATION SYSTEM THEREFOR AND METHOD OF FORMING
A system for retaining a flowable and curable building material to form a portion of a foundation includes side walls disposed in a predetermined configuration having a first side wall and a second side wall, and at least one component having an interior cavity disposed in one of the side walls. A bracket assembly includes an outwardly bounding reinforcement post for each of the side walls, a separator bar having a plurality of apertures sized to receive and retain each of the reinforcement posts at locations corresponding to nominal widths of the at least one component. A barrier is disposed between the outwardly bounding posts. The barrier and the component in the side wall is retained in the foundation after the building material cures. The barrier prevents backfill from filling a volume between the outwardly bounding posts.
