STABILIZER ARRANGEMENT

A stabilizer arrangement for mobile apparatus such as an access platform having a chassis with a functional component movably mounted thereon for movement between a rest position and a use position, comprises a stabilizer member movably mounted with respect to the chassis and having a ground-engaging portion, the stabilizer member being movable between a retracted condition in which the ground-engaging portion does not engage the ground and a deployed condition in which the ground-engaging portion engages the ground, the stabilizer member and functional component being mechanically interconnected such that, in use, initial functional movement from the rest position of the functional component relative to the chassis causes movement of the stabilizer member from the retracted condition to the deployed condition.

Working machine

A base assembly for a working machine. The base assembly comprising a ground engaging structure, an undercarriage connected to the ground engaging structure, and a connector for connecting the undercarriage to a superstructure that mounts a working arm. A drive arrangement is provided for moving the ground engaging structure to propel, in use, the base assembly and a connected superstructure. The drive arrangement includes a prime mover and a transmission and the drive arrangement is housed within the undercarriage. An electronic control unit (ECU) is provided for controlling the drive arrangement and/or the ground engaging structure.

A walking excavator (1) having a superstructure (2) and an undercarriage (29), and a cab (3) disposed on the superstructure (2), and four walking legs (4) pivotably disposed on the undercarriage (29), and an excavator arm (5) which is pivotably mounted on the superstructure (2) and to which an excavating tool (6), in particular an excavator bucket, is fastened or able to be fastened. A dual-action differential cylinder (7) pivots the excavator arm (5) up and down relative to the superstructure (2) and is articulated on the superstructure (2), on one side, and on the excavator arm (5), on an other side. For applying additional force along with the dual-action differential cylinder (7) when pivoting the excavator arm (5) down relative to the superstructure (2), a single-action differential cylinder (8) is additionally articulated on the superstructure (2), on one side, and on the excavator arm (5), on an other side.

STABILIZING SYSTEM FOR EXCAVATORS
20170275850 · 2017-09-28 ·

A support system for an excavator is disclosed as it may include an extended center frame, a trench support, and/or a mat. The extended center frame may be bolted onto a standard excavator to widen the overall footprint of the machine and reduce ground pressure. The trench support relieves any remaining pressure toward the open trench. The extended center frame enables a larger excavator to straddle an open trench, while at the same time a smaller excavator can dig the shallower depths, thereby increasing efficiencies. By implementing the trench support and/or the mat, it might not be necessary to widen the tracks of the excavator as far, thus further reducing time-related costs. In addition, the trench support may also enhance safety of the trenching operations.
