Tool bit having a cylindrical profile and blade assembly

A tool bit comprises a shank portion including a cylindrical configuration defining a longitudinal axis, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction, and a working portion including a cylindrical configuration that is concentric with the shank portion and a flat bottom surface.

Wear member monitoring system

A wear member monitoring system for a ground engaging tool, the system including: a measuring assembly having: an emitting device configured to emit a measurement signal towards a wear member of the ground engaging tool; a detecting device configured to detect a reflected measurement signal in response to the measurement signal emitted towards the wear member; and a processor configured to: analyse the reflected measurement signal with a two dimensional reference model; and determine a condition of the wear member based on the analysis of the reflected measurement signal with the two dimensional reference model.

WEAR RESISTANT COMPONENT

A wear resistant component (1) includes a matrix portion (10) made of metal, and a framework portion (20) that is embedded in the matrix portion (10) and is higher in hardness than the matrix portion (10). The framework portion (20) has a three-dimensional lattice structure formed with a plurality of bar-shaped members 31, and has a shape that follows a shape of at least a portion of a surface (11-18, 10C) of the matrix portion (10).

LOCK ASSEMBLY FOR GROUND ENGAGING TOOL
20230064096 · 2023-03-02 ·

A locking assembly for locking a ground engaging tool such as a shroud to a bucket lip. The bucket lip has a C-shaped boss fixed thereto. The ground engaging tool has a recess to receive a lock, the recess having an opening which is shorter in axial length than the recess. The lock is arranged to pivot about the boss as the ground engaging tool is slid rearwardly relative to the bucket lip. When the lock is located entirely within the recess, it can be accessed through a rear tunnel and tightened to hold the assembly in place.

WEAR ELEMENT FOR AN EARTH-MOVING MACHINE, CORRESPONDING MEASURING DEVICE AND MACHINE

Wear element for an earth-moving machine, corresponding measuring device and machine, in particular an excavating machine, loading machine, dredging machine, or the like. Said wear element is provided with a measuring device and further comprising energy harvesting means configured for capturing energy derived from an external source with respect to said measuring device and supplying said energy, in the form of electrical energy, to said measuring device.

WEAR ASSEMBLY

A wear member for attaching to a digging edge of a bucket includes a front end and bifurcated legs extending rearwardly from the front end. Each leg includes an inner surface to face the digging edge, a rear wall, and a lock opening to receive a lock therethrough. At least one of the bifurcated legs includes a front portion, a rear portion, and a coupling feature. The rear portion defines a stabilizing region comprising a front facing lateral wall forward of the rear wall.

Work implement assembly using adapters, adapter covers, and a notched base edge

An adapter includes a first leg, a second leg, and a throat portion at least partially define a slot that defines a projection at the closed end of the slot that includes a flat middle portion straddled laterally by a first arcuate portion and a second arcuate portion, defining a lateral middle portion width. A projection protruding distance is measured along the direction of assembly from the closed end of the slot to the flat middle portion. The projection protruding distance ranges from 0.8 to 1.2 multiplied by the lateral middle portion width.

WEAR ASSEMBLY

A lock that includes a pin and a collar. At least one of the pin and collar include a circular seal and a recess to store the seal. When the pin and collar are engaged in a locking manner, the surfaces of the pin and collar compress the seal such that a barrier is formed to limit ingress of fine earthen material. The lock assembly may be a component of a wear assembly. The lock assembly may be positioned into aligned holes to capture components of the wear assembly together, e.g. a point to an adapter or an adapter to a base. The recess of the pin may be located adjacent the head of the pin. The recess of collar may be located near the bottom of the collar. The application of both an upper and lower seal can further limit the ingress of fine earthen material.

WEAR INDICATOR FOR A WEAR MEMBER OF A TOOL

A wear indicator is provided for a wear member of a machine wherein the wear member is subject to wear during use of the machine. The wear indicator may include a plug member configured to be positioned in a region of the wear member subject to wear. The plug member may be oriented with a central axis extending in a direction substantially parallel to a direction of wear of the wear member. The wear indicator may include a plurality of perceptibly different and distinct axial cross sections taken perpendicular to the central axis of the plug member in axially spaced planes along the central axis.

A bucket may have a main body defining an inner cavity. A wear plate(s) covers an inner surface and/or an outer surface of the main body, the wear plate having holes therein. Fasteners passing through the holes and secured to the main body by screwing engagement. The wear plate(s) may cover an inner surface and/or an outer surface of the main body or the door at an interface therebetween.
