A method and rainwater processing system are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes collecting rainwater, filtering the collected rainwater, and ozonating the filtered collected rainwater to produce potable water. The method includes diverting a portion of the collected rainwater to a test chamber and testing by sensors the diverted portion of the collected rainwater to produce a valve control signal. Responsive to the valve control signal, a valve is opened to channel collected rainwater to a collection tank and filtered. The method includes ozonating the filtered collected rainwater to produce potable water. A functional water may be prepared by adding a substance to the potable water within a processing tank. The functional water may be carbonate and ozonated.

Internal four-sided shaped modules drain into four-sided shaped modules chamber where fluid is either stored or drained. Disclosed herein is a device for improving water quality, said device comprising: an inlet for inflow of liquid into the device; a hydraulic circuit for receiving liquid from the inlet, the hydraulic circuit comprising at least a first tank and a second tank, wherein the first tank is upstream of the second tank and wherein one of said first and second tanks is nested within the other of said first and second tanks; an outlet at a downstream end of the hydraulic circuit for discharge of liquid from the device; one or more contaminant separation elements in the hydraulic circuit for separation of contaminants from liquid passing therethrough using at least one of: gravitational separation; sized-based filtration; chemical separation; magnetic separation; electrolytic separation; and adsorption or attraction-based separation, wherein the first tank is a settlement tank for gravitational settlement of contaminants from the liquid.

A rainwater conveyance system comprises a vault assembly and a drain emitter. At least a portion of the vault assembly is underground and is located above a percolation region in the ground. The drain emitter is connected to the conveyance line such that a primary portion of the collected water flows through the first portion of the conveyance line and a secondary portion of the collected water flows out of the second portion of the conveyance line through the drain emitter at a preset emitter flow rate. The drain emitter is arranged within the vault assembly, above the percolation region, and below the conveyance opening. The preset emitter flow rate is predetermined such that the flow of the secondary portion of the collected water out of the conveyance line through the drain emitter drains standing water from the conveyance line and the secondary portion of the collected water percolates through the percolation region.
