A toilet that includes a tank; a bowl; a mounting bracket comprising a base and three mounting locations; a valve having a valve body extending through the tank and an opening in the mounting bracket; a valve nut coupled to the valve body with the base of the mounting bracket retained between the tank and the valve nut; a flexible gasket disposed around the valve nut between the mounting bracket and the bowl; and three fasteners disposed externally to the tank, wherein each fastener extends through one mounting location and a hole in the bowl to couple the mounting bracket to the bowl; where the three mounting locations are arranged to provide both a pitch adjustment and a roll adjustment of the tank relative to the bowl about respective first and second axes m response to adjustment of one or more of the three fasteners.

A flush toilet of the present invention includes a bowl portion for receiving waste and a discharge trap conduit connected to a lower portion of the bowl portion and extending to a discharge opening. The discharge trap conduit includes an ascending conduit ascending rearward from the lower portion of the bowl portion and a descending conduit descending from a downstream end of the ascending conduit to the discharge opening. The descending conduit includes a bottom surface on a rear side of the discharge opening, and a ceiling sloping surface, an upper end of the ceiling sloping surface being formed integrally with a bottom surface of a top portion of the ascending conduit, the ceiling sloping surface being formed on a front side of the discharge trap passage, and the ceiling sloping surface being inclined downward and forward from the upper end to a lower end of the discharge trap passage.

Flush toilet

A flush toilet of the present invention includes a bowl portion for receiving waste and a discharge trap conduit connected to a lower portion of the bowl portion and extending to a discharge opening. The discharge trap conduit includes an ascending conduit ascending rearward from the lower portion of the bowl portion and a descending conduit descending from a downstream end of the ascending conduit to the discharge opening. The descending conduit includes a bottom surface on a rear side of the discharge opening, and a ceiling sloping surface, an upper end of the ceiling sloping surface being formed integrally with a bottom surface of a top portion of the ascending conduit, the ceiling sloping surface being formed on a front side of the discharge trap passage, and the ceiling sloping surface being inclined downward and forward from the upper end to a lower end of the discharge trap passage.

The bowl includes a wall dividing the bowl into a first region configured to receive liquid waste and a second region configured to receive solid waste. A storage tank is coupled to the first line such that the storage tank is configured to receive the liquid waste from the first region via the first line.

A system for collecting and storing urine includes a toilet with a bowl and a tank. The bowl includes a wall dividing the bowl into a first region configured to receive liquid waste and a second region configured to receive solid waste. The system also includes a first line in fluid communication with the first region to transfer the liquid waste from the first region, and a second line in fluid communication with the second region to transfer solid waste from the second region. A storage tank is coupled to the first line such that the storage tank is configured to receive the liquid waste from the first region via the first line.
